Whats up everybody! For those of you that dont know me, Im AirbrushKing and have been running tournaments for the houston scene for over 3+years now. I have a series called Test Your Skills and im hosting a tournament on Oct 8 @ Smileys on highway 6 and bissonet. My friends and I are looking to create a bigger houston scene. Right now we play at UH central and we are capable of streaming. We are looking for dedicated players that will continue to develop this scene and keep it afloat. This scene is nearly non-existent in houston, but we believe we can build it up. If you are interested, drop me a line. We have some pretty good players and some that are developing, but committed.

There are 3 of us who play casuals weekly. We thought we were alone in houston lol. Me Cat and DevilJim are always down for casuals and a bigger scene. Let me no sone more info so we can meet uo. Also on sat there are 2 mk tourneys in the same day

finally got new computer for christmas. been out of the loop for a few months, but definitely lookin for some good OFFLINE comp. got kinda annoyed with online play. message me when somethings goin down on West side. You all still playin at smileys on hwy6 wed nights?

Yes we are bro! come on out! Ever since I got back from lubbock, we have been re-surging and getting more and more comp. I'm posting some matches on a new thread so take a look at some of the guys that you have to look forward to playing. But Yes Come to smileys so we can have more comp and come to the U of H meet ups when ever Kensou says that they are a go next week. I'll keep you posted

Yea come to Smiley's Bar In Sugarland on Wednesdays for Wednesday night Fights in Houston. and for a little bit of a closer venue all things considered, there is scrub tuesdays at monsters arcade.

Yo let me in on more info of your get togethers so that I can make it there before I go back to school in Lubbock bro. I wanna show my commitment to the scene as I did before I left for school. I also bring the MK setup to smileys bar in sugarland for Wednesday night fights.

Whats up everyone? I recently started a facebook group called the Houston Video Game Network and I wanted to invite you to join. Tell your friends to add there friends so we all can game together. This group caters to all gamers from all communitys so as long as your a gamer the group will cater to you. We have weekly video game meetups on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. casuals at my place tonight for the htown players. Whoever wants to coke threw just hmu heres my number. 2817468832. Also ismonia gaming in hoyston is having a tournament on saturday the 28th. Last tourney they had was a full 38 man turnout. Check out their facebook page insomnia video game coutoure. whats up folks, I spoke with Showtime today and we think with Final Round around the corner it would be a good idea for us to combine our scenes for some casual get togethers for matchup experience. Right now we have a pretty high level Sektor, Ermac, Scorpion, Johnny Cage, Cyrax and Smoke. Our Ermac player also plays a really good Sub-Zero and Kung Lao as well. We have weekly get togethers at this place called Dibbz in metarie, Louisiana http://www.facebook.com/#!/DibbzGaming on friday nights. Its a pretty big event we have lagless monitors to play on from 12pm-3am. THIS weekend is Louisiana's biggest tournament of the year - Battle for the South http://www.testyourmight.com/threads/feb-18th-2012-battle-for-the-south-iii-mardi-gras-madness-new-orleans-la.9503/ ... It would be REALLY awesome if you guys can make it down for the Friday Night Fight Night at Dibbz on Friday for casuals, and then we will have the tournament on Saturday and Sunday. After this weekend it will be our turn to make the drive, which is only about 5 hrs. Not too too bad especially for the amount of games we can get in this weekend. And as far as a place to stay, I'm talking to my landlord now about renting out a vacant 3 br apt for the weekend for cheap which is right next door to me. Aight Ill holla at yall later.

What time is mk9 on Saturday for the tourney? If its like after 5pm ill be down to drive with the mk crew. I don't get off work till 11am Saturday so yeah need 5 hours to drive there.

Finding out now, and I forgot to mention it is Mardi Gras weekend so there is much fun to be had in New Orleans any night this weekend.

alright, I just talked to the tournament organizer Kakita Jamie. He said to go to this webisite -> http://battleforthesouth.com/ and pre-register by tonight, because pre registration closes tonight, and you guys will have nothing to worry about. All you need is a paypal account. He wanted me to tell yall that there is a slight chance of one of you being in the same pools as one of your friends so be aware of that. He said that registration closes saturday at 1 oclock. So if you guys show up at 5 he said it would be harder to work something out but it will still be possible to get you guys in if you show up after 5. He said hopefully it doesnt come to that so sounds like he really wants you guys to pre register to make his life easier.

Landlord thing didnt fall through lol. They think we will wreck the place or something -_-

It doesn't have a set time. But he said if y'all preregister y'all won't have to worry as long as you leave Houston around 11 like u said.
