Big shoutouts to Marlon and Cat top 8 at the tourney. I make it to grand finals and was winning untill adeel took out his kano and put me on blast. My 1st offline tourney all the way from mortons bracket made it to second place. Not bad right. Also all you houston players need to start showing face at the tourneys. next weekend july 22-24th Kamikaze Kon, super street fighter 4 ae, mk9, ssbb, black ops, reach should be a good time every1 should try and make it out.. Congrats to Adeel for winning tonights tourney

Awesome shit. I didn't like the one match thing. After winning the random tourney I totally got out of tournament groove. Lol. Oh well I won 100 bucks so it's all good. Hope to play you guys some more. And I will try to make it to that tourney. Do know what exact day is the mk9 tourney?

registration starts the 22nd im gunna try to contact the people running the tourney and see what day MK is on. Ill let you know when i find out

So there's 3 tournies this upcoming weekend!! 1 and the kamikaze con. Another at 3d games which is on the picture on Sunday. And another one in Galveston for Saturday. Which to go too?

I would love to go but idk if I'll I've the money for a plane ticket and what not. Since I plan to spend a lot at evo.

Any of you guys want to take a trip to San Antonio Thursday to play some of their players? They hosting at a someones house and invited us. I'm down to drive.

by the way how does the controller thing work at most of these tournaments. I play on xbox with a PDP fight stick. I don't think I would know what to do with a PS controller lol.

Lol. Well you can bring your own controller but most tournaments are run on ps3 so idk about finding someone with a pdp stick to let you use. Are you going to the tourney tomorrow?

Is there a thread?

Also, welcome me back gentlemen. Returned to the woodlands from florida just a few hours ago, and now I'm ready to get back out there for the tournies! Deerbrook, can't remember where that is.

Finally, we should make a revamped houston thread so that we can better keep track of our local reps. I can do it if you want, but I think it'll be good to have peoples information down and have a place to post about different locals and tournies in the area.

There's no thread just go on Facebook and look up 3d games (deerbrook) and you should find their page with the info on one of their wall post. It's probably like 15 min away from your house since up their in that area. And that sounds like a good idea. Me Jim and Showtime had some good matches the other day. You missed out

Yeah, I've been missing the mk while i was in florida. been grinding out games all day. Gimme a holler next time yall get together for some casuals. Also the fortworth classic is on my birthday, so i have a feeling my family is going to want me in town with them. Oh well. I'll figure it out.

Hey guys, A.R.K. IV is coming up September 17th-18th in Jacksonville, AR! We are expecting ~200 people with games such as SSF4:AE, SF 3S:OE, Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, Mortal Kombat 9, Melee, Brawl, BB:CS II, and more! Competitors are coming in from at least 6-7 several states to compete!

Note that our tournament is working on securing sponsorships from well known companies which will each be providing additional prizes and bonus pots for our tournaments. The Traveling Circus has expressed interest as of this time. Also, well-known regional modder DaRabidDuckie will be on hand to provide dual mods (PS3 <-> 360) for fight sticks.

Thanx for coming to the san antonio tournament guys......great play to Dr.88 and Showstopper and kitten. Showstopper no need to be salty you did really well. Hope to see more Houston players at the next one...spread the word.
