I rarely if ever play KI, but will 100% be playing once Hisako hits. And x2 once Cinder hits. I'm not the biggest fan of KI, but Hisako is a type of character I've been wanting in a game since I was a wee lad! And Cinder is my favorite KI character!!

Hisako is the best character design/idea I've seen in a long time. Granted I haven't been paying too much attention to MKX cause I hate being spoiled...but this character is just fucking amazing.

Cinder reminds me too much of Groot. His voice was cool but he looks too goofy.

I can't find any sales information on the game, but I would imagine it's not doing terrible since season 2 is still going and the rumors of a season 3 are buzzing. The online community is really healthy, but it seems like no one wants to travel for it outside of the normal bunch.

I don't and won't ever play KI but they may have some of the coolest character designs of the last decade. Arganos took big body characters to a whole new level and Hisako looks like a horror fans wet dream. Kudos to Iron Galaxy for creativity.

I don't think it helps that Iron Galaxy promotes the online tournament a lot either. That can cause a lot of people to get comfortable...just my opinion.

Well, blame Microsoft for that one, not TYM.

By which I mean, there was hardly any input on the posts I made for tournament results be it online or offline, as well as the weekly textual streams released at the Ultra Combo forums. Sometimes the input fluctuated with new characters and sometimes it didn't.

And then of course, along came the typical bashing. "This game isn't as good as *insert game title here,*" or "It should be on *insert console name here*," and so on.

TYM may have been founded on the basis of supporting NRS titles, but I think we could gain so much from not disallowing others to venture outside of their boundaries in regards to the games they play. Sadly, almost no-one was on board. *shrugs*

I'll stop so as not to derail the thread. With MKX coming, it'll quickly overtake all other supported titles here and that is understandable. I'm hype for it myself.

I actually don't think this is such a bad thing. My job makes me travel a lot to foreign countries, and I find tournament people to be largely... Unbathed lol (slightly kidding here). Being able to enjoy this game online with nigh zero lag is a dream come true after the torture of MK9. If MKX has great net play, I don't have to waste my money/time on any tournament expenses
