Tether gives us free stunt double activation which is worth the dmg loss from doing a combo.
On hit:

if blocked (can be block confirmed)

The inputs for after the first Janet sweep are 1,f1 as opponent stands up, I believe this can be beaten by wakeup poke but I need to test it more. There are gaps in this as well but you can block after db1 if you suspect it for a punish

Made a Havik/Mavado guide if anyone is interested in trying out this team, it's a lot of fun and one of Havik's best kameos rn but for certain matchups you'll probably still need Stryker or Scorpion in your pocket.

Video includes most of the tech the high level Havik mains have been using + a couple new safe jump/EX BF1 setups I found while labbing him.

Hey guys when I end combos midscreen with EXbf2 mavado slide (and it hits) when I do bf1 into bf2 neck break it pops them up with no neck break. What exactly is happening here?? Should I not do the bf1? Does it only work if they try to wake up/armor or what? It doesn’t always happen either.

Cause if they delay wake up after the pop up and I do bf2 neck break too quick I sometimes miss my chance to get it. 2 bars gone

BF1 will always launch if its the second hit of a combo so that's why they're getting popped up.

If this happens all you gotta do is wait to see what they do on wakeup and you have enough time to hit them with neck snap again even if they delay getting up.

or if you wanna play it safe just delay the first neck snap a tiny bit so that the blood ball hits first, this also adds a decent amount of damage to your combo because the first hit won't be affected by tether scaling.

Havik/Goro:
-B22bf1 B22 Down Kameo canceled into punch walk (slight delay) db1 J123 for 46% Can be hilariously wonky tho, needs to be ironed out.

Easier:
-Starter bf1 B22 bf2 Kameo canceled into punch walk (get knocked down) wake up db4 for a minimum of 37%. Over 50% when EXbf2. Seems like a solid bnb...?

-Starter bf1 B22 bf2 kameo canceled into punch walk (get knocked down) wake up db1 EXdb4 for a minimum of 45%.


Havik/Ferra:
Starter EXdb4 (after about second hit) up kameo 2 J212 s2 db4 for minimum of 36%. Uses all kameo.
 
Can't wait to lab. Don't have any time but it's going to be glorious. Lol goro literally busting out so much damage for everyone. Lol.

So in the Havik tutorial combos, one of them is Exbf1, bf1, Kano knives, and then a couple more bf1 and then fatal blow. Or something to that effect.

Is there a way to take this and turn it into something actually practical? I’m curious what Havik can convert from Ex bf1, bf1.

havik/sektor inescapale 670-710 damage. 3 bars + fatal blow. im sure one can squeeze out even a bit more here and there. damage is depending if they use early or late wakeup during the reset, late=more. the timing is tricky in many parts of this but once you got it down its managable.

the reset timing is: activate kameo when havik nudges his head back before puking during the ENbf2 animation. snap neck when his body (hands!) have fully returned to neutral position after ENbf2. this breaks wakeup armor AND meaties late wakeup. its inescapable for most if not all of the cast. someone with a very fast advancing wakeup like johnny might armor through but might also not.

Scorp is 1000% his best Kameo rn if you have the execution to do his combos.

Not only does he give you insane damage off everything and the setups in this vid, he also helps in zoning wars by acting as a meat shield and spear pull is a great tool for getting out of stuff like mix on wakeup or Sento setups or even just to reset neutral in general. Scorp overhead is reactable but still gives you a tool to catch your opponent off guard.

The only downside to Scorp is no ambush to keep you safe so you can't play like ass if you wanna win with him :DOGE

Lololol that last sentence took me out. Good stuff like always. It's pretty much TOD to gg's now with havik. Lol and people can't say he's braindead now because he's hard to play with before and even more after the patch. Lol. I've been pretty much freeing up people since the patch.

Been playing around with new new Havik/Darrius. They've got some interesting synergy

Here is a not-too-difficult, kinda-cool-looking 421 damage combo. It only costs 1/2 Kameo bar


The real interesting thing about Havik/Darrius is that:
- Darrius has an overhead launcher
- now Havik has a low launcher

So they can get an armor-breaking funblockable that launches no matter which option hits last.
However, Darrius's launching axekick version exclusively comes after his slooooow, overhead flipkick, which is.... not good. Buuuttt... Havik's unblockable tether necksnap leads to a super-long stun. This allows two things:
1. The overhead flipkick combos easily, leading to the splat knockdown for the setup
2. The severe damage scaling on necksnap is bypassed, as this is a reset

Delaying wakeup can mess with setup timings (I need to lab that a bit more), but the damage potential is pretty huge. Here are a couple of examples. Both use all Kameo bar and meter, but that was just 'cuz I was trying to maximize the damage in my brief testing. Any tether+flipkick setup costs a minimum of 2 meters and 1/2 Kameo bar

827 Total Damage (low hits first in funblockable)

858 Total Damage (overhead hits first, and the armor-break is demonstrated)
