Games the majority think is trash, but you think its actually good

I was talking to some of the guys from CoCo about it, and we were all like "This game was fun when we played it..."

It got brushed off as ass because of the problems, but a number of the problems were fixed. The game is good now...there's a reason Tokido is maining SFxT now, and why Asia in general has kept at the game.

speaking of it, I need to get back to the game and practice my Hwoarang/Elena team and brush up on my Julia/Paul and Julia/Elena teams

Okay yeah, the game already looks super generic with the blatant SF1 Ryu knockoff, but believe me, this game had some really unique mechanics in regards to vitality, the point system, and throw teching/breaking.
As for why the game never really got noticed, well, the clue is in the boxart, LBSH, with the PS1 and Saturn around, nobody bought an N64 for fighting games.

Would be nice to see a change of pace like this, in this day and age

Arcana Heart 3 - one of the best fighting systems I've played. Too bad the sprites and art style kill the game for most.

I actually really enjoyed that game, but obviously 3D MK's were often viewed in a negative light and this was dubbed the worst of them all. I disagree.

Marvel Nemesis: Rise Of The Imperfects

This game was so much fun to me, only thing that bothered me was that you could get "lost" in the 3D arenas at times and the way attacks worked. Paragon was so overpowered, yet so fun to play. The animations and the pseudo-fatalities were awesome. I wish they'd made a sequel, maybe in a 2D plane and with more characters.

I saw the tittle of the thread and inmeaditely thought about shinobido. I loved that game, being able to choose your wich mission you wanted to do, and having those missions affect the others. It was pretty great. I also love both american mcgee's alice's games and i'm in loved with El Shaddai, its just so viewtiful P)

Bunch of stuff about marvel imperfects....

I loved the game. I always cheesed people by doing that air tackle near the edges of the levels on them. Since they were the first person who would actually fall out of the ring, they were the ones who took the damage for falling, even though my character flew down with them. lol

Edit: I stumbled on the war of the monsters demo and bought it immediately. I too wish for at least an hd update with online play. What about shinobi or nightshade for ps2? I enjoyed the super fast pace of the games, and the only thing I really didn't like was the lack of checkpoints when a level could take upwards of 45 minutes to complete. I also liked the older harry potter games, and beat a few of them for my nephews.

Edit#2: ANY CALL OF DUTY. Say what you will, the games are enjoyable at times. I like to play it when I don't want to think. Plus its always fun laughing at my friends or giving them the mic so they get me in trouble. lol
