early today and yesterday it was almost 0 wait time and now it takes me quite a while to find an opponent and they are usually 130+ ping for some reason. The good connections are flawless though.
I get a lot of "Joining Match" and then it moves on stuff. I get that's somewhat normal and happens on PS4 too, but it seems like it's happening a lot more here. I don't know what that sort of thing is about, but I imagine it's checking the ping and stability or something.
I gave up for awhile, partly because it was too hard to find anyone, and because I started feeling bad that everyone I met was really, really green.
If I had a 25+ft LAN cable I would give that a try and see if it helps anything, but I don't these days. It also doesn't look like it's me when I run repeated speed and jitter tests. The connection seems pretty stable and quick, and when I get a good connection with someone it seems fine. When it works if feels as good or better than most of my PS4 wired connections which was unexpected. It would be better to just wire up but that's a little unrealistic a thing to try for a few day beta, and I suspect I'm not the major issue even if I'm not optimal.
What I really, really, REALLY want to know though is how a guy can be level 8 with no wins and no losses in a beta that only allows you to play matches that would give you wins and losses.
