I am not grateful about this announcement, however.

Oh no, we all get it. NRS said they were making an announcement, then teased the date of the announcement, then made the announcement. Now they are the bad guys. Makes perfect sense.

I simply don't get why Boon had to show the pic with the 4 silhouettes and "Tomorrow?" if the announcement doesn't have anything to do with those specific silhouettes at all. Yes, Boon is a troll, I get that, but even for him this was a dick move. He was hyping everybody up to the point where people felt like they did when they revealed the game, in terms of which character is gonna make it, at least that's how it felt for me. People were expecting to see who's gonna be in KP2, NRS gave us a whole lot of nothing.

Meh, at least we got the silhouettes, and now know Baraka and Bo Rai Cho are there. (I'm sorry, but you're dumb/wilfully ignorant if you don't see that that silhouette matches up with Baraka's MKX design in every possible way)

I thought it looked like Baraka as well until someone posted the Noob image.

Boo fuckin' hoo. We didn't even know we were getting any more characters until a few days ago. Just be patient and wait and see what happens. We just got a huge patch the other day that changes the entire game. Learn some new characters in the meantime and just enjoy what we have.

Okay, let me explain. I'm not upset that they announced more DLC, I'm upset that their teases revealed more than their official announcement. We already knew that The Pit, 4 Characters and more Skins was coming because Ed Boon practically revealed all of that within the past day or so. This "announcement", which we were all expected to be specific details about what we are getting exactly, turned out to basically just be "Hey! You know that stuff we have been teasing over the past day or so? Well, it's happening! Bet you didn't see that one coming". I mean, the official announcement didn't even confirm The Pit, and we already know that's coming!

Am I really in the wrong for being disappointed that they didn't give us any specific details? Am I supposed to be one of those guys that are like "Oh, don't be mad at NRS, they are our gods, you are forbidden to be mad at our gods. Now, get hyped over this DLC that you are going to have to pay for but have no details on... you don't even know when it's coming out specifically either. But, you know, #GETHYPED"
