Really want to start back training with Nobushi, but this weekend I will be testing out ALL characters to get a feel of them. I love Nobushi but still don't have an alt confirmed. Plus it's good to learn all the characters to know what they're capable of.

Yep I did have kensei wrong, everyone else is correct though as only the kensei works that way, thanks for the heads up.
Ah so that's a character trait of his, gotcha.

Also, if you get a chance next time you are testing something with your buddy, try out if Kensei's side dash light is still punishable by guard break on block. Would be great to know if that changed.

Will do. Also fun fact with the kensei guardbreak being chain starter, as you know guard break/pommel strike are hits 1-2, so you can go right into the unblockable. If you get a wallbounce with the pommel hit the top heavy unblockable is guaranteed~~~

I feel like people are saying Kensei is possibly one of the strongest simply because of how versatile he is. He has great range that only a couple of people can contest. He's got good defense, decent offense. He can actually utilize walls extremely well which makes him scary whenever. Overall he's just absurdly solid.

However I still think Warlord is possibly the best character in the game. I'm also of the opinion that if Assassins didn't exist Shugoki could possibly be the best in the game as well.

Kensei is incredibly good and plays the way for honor "should". Unless Warden is changed from the beta though still my vote for strongest character with a bullet because it gets 50/50 coinflips for free that lead back into itself. Warden is literally a vortex character.

It's pretty dumb yea you're not wrong about that.

All you have to do is wait till the sudden death breaking part then it becomes which side can gank the other the best. Mostly the entire match means nothing.

I reckon to play dominion you need friends to stick together and separate accordingly because I had a good run playing it and until I found groups that at least semi stuck together you'd usually lose. Any team you jump on that just scramble you get dropped in 2v1 and 3v1 situations.

2v1's are easy against 99% of people. Remember that whatever you leave your guard resting at, will auto block all people you are not locked into from that side. So if dude is to your right when you locked onto someone else, leave guard resting right and you auto block all their attacks. Bingo get free revenge, bongo win 2v1 for free.

That said against smart players, every intruding player past the first should only be doing guardbreaks so the first guy can get in hits without raising your guard meter but so far people aren't smart enough to do that and just mash.

I set the block to the side where I'm prone and circle to get everyone clumped and keep my thumb on the X button to guard break. If I end up prone and there's an open spot, I may roll to try and reset the positions - but only after a good block or parry so they don't get any free hits. Also, my items build rage meter fast and blocking gets health back - so it really isn't a terrible situation when I get ganked. I'm probably going to die without help, but its no cakewalk for my opponents. I have rage killed a bunch of players this way and even won a 4v1 with both teams breaking to steal a win.

The best teams get to 100. Then, they group uo and move as a group to finish off the other side.

Just noticed an OS that is pretty useful for some chars. Going for a parry you can do light+heavy and if they go for a feint your zone attack will come out. If you do it at parry timing, you will parry the attack. Can definitely be useful for chars like Warden, PK, Orochi, etc that have fast zone attacks. It will be very hard to react to this when you are trying to bait a heavy to parry. Obviously won't be as useful if someone knows you're going to do it but it could be a nice way to check someone who is content to spam feint

Yoooo Warlord/Warden tech? Ive been thinking of picking up Warden since Lawbringer was a huge bill.
