yea but your in luck cuz the idiots are going to make the window even larger and youll be able to press the tech right after.
I thought they were just making it to where if you both press guard break and y'all connect, it will tech? Cause that's happened a lot where they will be out of range for a GB, but I will react to the GB icon, and I will GB, then it pushes me forward just enough, and either one of us gets the GB, or we connect and nothing happens.

no, they are bringing it back to how it was in the beta where if you teched immediately or slightly early you teched it

The GB Tech window is ginormous. I dont know how anyone could have any trouble at teching on reaction
Its hard when im facing a character like Orochi who can do five different things super fast. Idk maybe i just suck.

Speaking of Orochi at this point i dont know what i can do to beat this character with Conq. He/She dance around any offense i can do cause he's way faster than me. Even if i land a hit (light because my heavies are way to slow) can escape away from me cause i've got crappy range on everything or just counter the second hit.

Okay. Always block high and react to his left/right. You have to HAVE to try parry him and just be defensive. Teching guard breaks is pretty important. You have to just be a complete wall, can't really aggress on him.

Orochi only has really two fast moves, the top light and the zone. Everything else is surprisingly really slow once you get down the parry, everything is parryable on reaction. after you hit the orochi dont go for another attack, bait the dash attack and parry it and loop

I don't really mind that to be honest with you. If they were changing it to where if you tech late you still get the tech, I'd have a big problem with it.

It's still very early. If there was a training mode this game would be infinitely better. The best thing they have is the duel bot practice and Unfortunately, in the duel bot practice mode, it's the same bots for every difficulty.

But you will get better in matchups with more experience.

thats exactly my thought process

EDIT: I read that wrong, I do have a problem making the window even larger even if its only for the faster techs because it eliminates the extremely small skill gap of teching throws in the first place

Not everyone can have the tactical intelligence to tell it's a feint, after all, they thought going for anything past the 2nd dash would work.
Like, come on, there are better reactions to heavies than "DASH N HIT WEEEEEE" could...parry? backdash? ANYTHING?!

Yeah on 2nd thought I don't like the change. I actually didn't know something about the techs that I learned, so yeah I also don't agree with them reverting it.

Testing frame data from moves and there is some oddities here
Some moves when done multiple times, I get different results on them. For example peacekeeper zone attack, it has hit by my counting at 9 frames, 10 frames, and 11 frames.

its either a) there is breathing hitboxes, or b) something to do with console version being at 30fps?
