Think they might even dip back into the well of last year's Kombat Kards from Halloween? Scary clown Baraka, Turkey Time Kotal, vampire D'Vorah and... er... black pussy cat Noob?
I mean as cute as kitty Noob was, I'd like to see different things but as long as they aren't for my mains then I don't really care all that much since I won't use them.

I know in this climate it's not the best, but a Cassie Cop outfit could be cool. Maybe one of the futuristic ones she had in her concept arts that were badass.

What sort of costumes would you like to see?

Yeah, granny panties again. They really be sure to cover up every little bit of the hip, don't they? It certainly wasn't like that in UMK3. The hair is a bit off too.

Nadine from Uncharted 4 is how you make a woman look strong and deadly and not sexualized. Nadine is the happy medium between Kitana looking completely emaciated with an ass flatter than an IHOP pancake and TLOU Abby literally looking like a man with the block face and shoulder acne to match.

The guys all look like they could punch a hole through space and time, do the girls need a sandwich or something? MKX had some weird designs for some women but they all at least looked scary and deadly.

Well for a start, not novelty costumes haha. I just like things that are flattering to the character's model whilst also and most importantly; in-character and in-universe. The Cassie Cop one sounds good and yes agree the concept art was great are far better than anything that appeared in her default wardrobe.

MK's crossed so many media forms and had so many interpretations of some of its costume designs, I'd also just love to see more recreations from those seen in film, TV, comics etc. rather than just Shang's movie jacket.

I'd far rather get an MK movie Scorpion or Raiden, MKX comic Jacqui or Cassie, or MK Conquest Noob or Shao Kahn, than any ridiculous Halloween themed costumes they decide to invent.

I also just really like simple costumes; love Kitana in her new kimono, Kung Lao in his ancestor's Shaolin robes, Frost in Lin Kuei gear, and if it weren't for the horrible shoes, dirty socks and unflattering shorts (at least the baggy formless coat is now optional), Cassie in her workout gear would look splendid (see above pipe-dream for her as she appeared in the MKX comic, same goes for Jacqui and Frost; all have been over-designed in MK11).

I agree completely! Novelty and tacky costumes like witch and serial killer have very little appeal IMO. Like they went big with Kano as a cyborg and that's a great costume, I don't like it, but it's great. And there's some really good skins they added, but by far the worst of them all is that halloween pack.

Yo, the problem with Cassie is exactly like you said, ugly yoga shorts, rolled up socks and gross shoes. Cassie got style bro she'd never dress like that. All of Sonya's outfits would work better on her daughter. I really wish they'd bring her MKX outfits back AND the undercut. I miss MY Cassie. The real Cassie.

Exactly, classic games. Historical relics of a time when the main role for strong female characters was to be "fighting fuck-sticks".

I have no agenda here. I like T&A. I just think these skins are best appreciated in the past, for their time.
For fuck sake dude what a bullshit.

I see The Joker, Robocop in the game...I see red and green scorps everywhere....red kitanas...injustice barakas and so on....and then, they decided to include something wortwhile and the kids start to vomit their far fetched political agenda in order to transform things as they think it should.

Remember that you are not the only one playing. I think that when I see orange joker in the game and I remember that are a lot of ninjas and robots missing.

God I miss the undercut too. It gave her attitude and edge; she's meant to be the daughter of Hollywood royalty, trained in the military, MMA fighting (as per the MKX comic) and a celebrity 'it girl' all at once. She's meant to ooze that unique edge of pure fashion style, humorous arrogance and deadly combat training. She'd have her own sportswear line for sure no doubt (hence her shorts in MKX), and would be equally as comfortable starring in the reality TV of "Keeping Up with the Cages" whilst she goes shopping in Venice Beach as she would be breaking a Tarkatan's jaw with her nightstick.

Her designs in MKX and its comic felt like they were done by people who understood her fully and the type of person and upbringing she would have had, as well as the world she lives in.

In MK11 it feels like she was designed by someone who's literally has no idea who she is and what she would wear. And the decision to just give her a boring long blonde ponytail that makes her look far too like Sonya is one of the worst things to have happened to her... alongside the hundreds of hideous spacesuits and weird metal goggles.

This will always be Cass to me (and real women seem to agree - http://gametyrant.com/news/cassie-cage-is-kicking-ass-in-this-mortal-kombat-x-cosplay)...

Exactly!

You take away her undercut, you change the voice actor that GAVE Cassie her personality, you change her style, she just becomes another random character void of unique characteristics. I really don't know what they were thinking. Like was it too hard to model an undercut? To me it would be easier than to animate a freaking ponytail. One can only hope they bring it back someday in an outfit, maybe her default from MKX.

All the things they took away from her, are what made me fall in love with this character in the first place. It kinda makes me sad to think about it.

Ew!! They look scary and deadly because the sprites do not look human with their giant alien heads and horribly drawn and animated bodies

Fair point sir, I'll once again to back to Nadine then. She was completely non sexualized, but was pretty cut, hell she even had a bicep vein which some men don't even have, but still looked like a woman. Just physically imposing and believable that she could kick peoples asses

Do you mean her brush-forward on the bottom picture? I’m not a big fan of how her hair is brushed in the Endurance skin, but it’s the chic style she rocks in her athletic gear that I was highlighting compared to the frumpy “late 30s mom enrolling in ‘Race For Life’ with her office colleagues“ that her athletic gear in MK11 seems to personify her as.

I love the undercut when she wears it in bun though, as per her SWAT gear and the first piece of fan art I posted.

I really can't understand the logic in removing her undercut yet at the same time removing her unique fashionable style? It's like they've attempted to both soften her look and make her more classically feminine with the hair, yet equally made her look like someone who doesn't know how to dress now either.

Why feminise if you're not going to stylise?

Clearly the words "I have no agenda here" don't translate into Brazilian sheep tongue. I was very clear, I don't give a flying rat's ass if you want to titillate yourself with digital cleavage while playing a video game. Knock yourself out (just remember to clean up afterwards).

What I said was, I respected NRS's decision to start clothing their female characters in ways that these women might actually choose to dress, instead of the ways that puerile assclowns like yourself imagine they should dress. I'm disappointed they seem to be going back on that decision, but hey, it's their game and they can do what they want.

Whatever it is you think you're entitled to--more ninjas, robots, butt cheeks, whatever--is of no interest at all. Not everyone with different taste has a political agenda. So sod off, bro.

yeah for sure, if the workout gear would have been like the first pic you posted I would have loved it. I just absolutely despise her MKX workout skin because it looks like she's donald trump's twin. Whoever green lit that hairstyle was on some shit that day lmao. My post was mainly just to shit on that skin for the lulz.

However, I love everything else about MKX Cassie. The undercut, the personality, the style (Default outfits), the voice, etc
