The only justifiable concern about Adult Gohan is his machine gun legs. Everything else he has just makes him a good character.

Being able to do long block strings isn’t exclusive to Growhan, but he definitely can do probably the longest, safe, true blockstring in the game as long as he has meter and has you in the corner. The issue is, I believe, is that he builds this meter while doing the blockstring, certainly if he has assists able to cover his recovery on his regular machine gun kick on block. The only way out is guard cancel, but you have to have specific timing otherwise it will be stuffed. Not sure how they could change this, but wouldn’t be surprised if they did.

The other highlighted concern is the machine gun leg combo loops. I’m almost certain this wasn’t intended to be possible for Growhan. I think he should only be able to use regular machine gun legs once, but not sure how they could even nerf it in that manner. I guess a more practical nerf would be to add increased damage scaling after each machine gun legs, much like Supergirls float adds damage scaling each time it’s performed.

As an Adult Gohan main, I’m not like some people *cough* 16 mains *cough* that is in denial about how good the character is. I just hope his actual broken aspects are the things targeted, aka what I mentioned above.
Watching the Fox vs G01 set.

AGohan needs that block string adjusted somehow. The loops with assists and the meterbuild are just a bit too much. G01 did a great job exposing hit's weaknesses. Great play from both.

I saw. I concur with you in regards to I wouldn't be surprised if it's addressed, I just hope they do it with an err of caution. I don't know what the single answer is to it, but the lethality of that pressure and the low risk of abusing it when combined with assists is imho too strong.

How do you even close the skill gap in this game? Like.. I'm new to anime fighters and there's like no way to learn to get REALLY good.. It's not like Injustice where there's an online training mode where people can help you learn.

There’s an online practice in ring match you just have to select it

It's all so very confusing.

Best way imo is finding a player at or above your skill level and grinding learning sets. Ie not just trying to body each other but working on things. If some situation keeps working for you, you tell me "hey if you reflect at this point, or make a read here you.. blah blah" and being able to say in a match, hold on a sec, I don't understand what just happened. Or such and such didn't work, or did work or whatever and have the other person just stop and repeat the scenario or whatever. You are playing matches, yes, but with an eye to learning not just racking up W's. Maybe I say hey, let me set up my pressure and run this mix and let me know blah blah. That's how you learn games like this imo. Realistically it's probably one of the better ways to learn most FGs. You obviously play competitive sets with other players as well, and each other.. but this kind of stuff should form a backbone of training. And keep a notebook nearby and jot down things to test out or research later.

Hmm let's see: 16, Cell, Black, Vegeta, Trunks, Hit, Goku, Gohan, Nappa, Kid Buu, 21, 18, Blueku, Tien, Piccolo..

My count must be off coz that's not 5.
Nah he's right, literally every single match has a 16, Cell, Black, A. Gohan or Vegeta. Doesn't mean that we don't see other characters, but when it's match after match for hours with a lot of teams having 2 of these guys, it most definitely feels like we're seeing the same five characters over and over again.

Is it a shame? Sure, but it is what it is until a patch drops. The game is still interesting to watch at a high-level regardless.

Those complaining about A.Gohan without also mentioning Cell, Vegeta, 16 and Black make no sense. All 5 are super strong. Same with Trunks and Android 18.

The issue is... That the footage of Final Round shows A. Gohan dominance with that block infinite. If the developers don't do anything about it. The next tourneys will turn into Adult Gohan Fighterz without doubt. Teen Gohan is not bad at all. But Why ever play him if his superior version is that OP?. Same will happen. Only loyalist fools will continue to use their outclassed characters on tourneys.

I do wonder if they will do anything about Vegeta's assist, man it would suck if Fat buu lost his only way to combo into fat throw anywhere on screen. I've started using Fat Buu and man this character is nutty when he gets going but the only other assists I've found that can end a combo into fat throw is the Goku beams but that's corner only and the timing is tight. I'm guessing if they touch it at all they just move him foward when he's used so he can't just be thrown out any time for low risk.

Edit: testing more characters yamcha can easily combo into it in the corner kid buu and tien can as well but the timing for them is really difficult.

It also showed 16 and Cell dominance, as well as Vegeta’s assist dominance. But I guess people are used to that by now? Idk, Cell looked way more broken to me in the finals.

I saw the dominance from Goichi-san. He showed how A. Gohan and Cell were broken AF. He even used Vegeta to make the brokeness epic. I believe that they will nerf those 3.

TFW Beerus is a bit weak, while Tien and A16 are strong AF in power-wise, while in the series it's the exact opposite?

A16's lvl3 has Potemkin's animation and is insta kill, while the rest don't have that.

Goku Black is jack of all trades but not op.
It has been shown that if You pressure 16 He falls. So He pressure as the same as He gets pressured. and the raw command grabs are reactable same with Black.

On the Cell case... I give You that.:DOGE

As I stated before, I don’t think A.Gohan is broken af, I just think his machine gun legs are broken. But other characters can also do similar things with long safe true blockstrings, A.Gohan is just the best at it. Aside from his MGL’s, A.Gohan is perfectly fine imo.

Anybody that has any type of loops are broken. With the display of such exploitation, that will most def be adjusted in a future patch

When you say fat throw.. you mean his lockdown move? Where you get wrapped up for a second?

Maybe I'm totally confused but I swear I've seen Hit's assist end combos and let him combo into it.

Acerca de tu pregunta... Creo que los DLC vendrán el mes que viene. No lo tengo por certeza... Pero tal vez a mediados de Abril o al final de ese mes se podrá descargar los personajes DLC.

Yes that one, after more testing Cell and gotenks can do it in the corner as well and Goku Blue's hard knockdown comes in handy too as it gives you enough time to throw one out on wake up. I haven't tried to see if hits worked yet I figured his assist wouldn't keep them in place long enough

Edit: hits keeps them in place longer than I thought it works in the corner

The main thing is that all the assists into fat throw are corner only other than Vegeta's (maybe Kid Buu can do it anywhere as well but wow the timing is rough) I wonder if Bardock or Broly will offer any more "hey I'm gonna keep this character in place for a bit" types of assists
