DLC character poll.

These are the best one that I believe NRS could make with such originality and diversity to keep things new and fresh. They all have such diferent traits and abilities that it would be like getting a whole new game.
1.)MMH
2.)Swamp Thing
3.)Lobo
4.)Captain Cold
5.)Scarecrow
6.)Animal Man
7.)Plastic Man
8.)Zattanna
9.)Rorshach from Watchmen.....Over!

I agree with everything except the "sell better" part. Mortal Kombat sold because of 90's pop culture success and the blood and gore. For injustice, most people won't recognize two thirds of the cast.

Really? The only characters I won't put money on being very well known so far are Deathstroke, Grundy, and Doomsday. Everyone else is honestly pretty popular, even Captain Marvel/Adam.

Well, I can only use myself as a reference, but the only reason I know Captain Marvel was because of MkvsDC, and I only knew Black Adam by name. I had never even heard of Green Lantern was until MKvsDC's roster speculation. I can't speak for my friends, but they lean more towards Marvel characters (though none of them actually read comics).

main characters that I think will appear due to popularity with fans, current or future focus in DC properties.

Note: I also think that Darkseid and Ares will already be unlockable playable/boss in some format.

1. Martian Manhunter – This guy is a JL main and is now the lead in a separate comic, he’s gotta be in somewhere.
2. Power girl ( with Supergirl alt-skin)- Topped the DLC ladies poll for two good reasons, plus there is an opportunity to make her VERY different from superman.
3. Zatanna – one of the most popular female members of the league and pure “magic” is kinda only represented by raven atm.
4. Lobo- he’s the main man!
5. Blue Beetle- major player in great arc in young justice and his solo comic is going great.
6. Zod- He IS the main villain about to come out in Man of Steel would make all sorts of sense.
7. Captain Cold/Mirror Master- either of these for flash he needs a villain BADLY and both have good fighting game potential.
8. Circe- an adversary for Wonder Woman if Ares is more of a boss…and if Zatanna is NOT in, then we need another pure magic user. ( ok ok this one might be a personal preference too!)

*personally I would also like Dr Fate, Black Manta, Grodd, Black Canary, Huntress, Cheetah, Felix Faust, Klarion, Mongul..... so MANY to choose from!

Martian Manhunter - Everyone realizes that he has to be in the game, either of bat or as DLC otherwise. If he's not in, it's going to be the biggest omission by far.

Black Manta - The new 52 run he had on Aquaman has me convinced. He is ready for this.

Captain Cold - Another one that should really just be in the game of bat seeing how their selection process went anyways.

Katana - Lends herself nicely to a fighting game. Could have a cool move set and would fit right in.

Starfire - Because seing her in 3D would be amazing and she's been a big character in the New 52 reboot. Should really be in the game.

For my personal preference Red Hood and Deadshoot... That's who I want.

I absolutely love all of these choices. I wish you were employed by NRS so you could force them to make these guys.

YOU ROCK.

The only thing that I would add are a couple of badass ladies like Black Canary (the "Sindel" [or hell, even Silver Banshee would work]) and possibly Big Barda or Vixen.

You, I like. Thank you. I Wish NRS wanted more employees simply for creative direction. I would do it for free. I at least try to think of constructive direction or creative implementation, with my suggestions.

I truly believe Scarecrow offers a very unique fighting character. If they only consider one, I would hope it's him. The things they could do with him, are groundbreaking. He is interesting for players who have already committed, recent appearances in Arkham Asylum,and Batman Begins and well known enough to draw in new players. Hell. He's not even stealing a roster spot since it would be DLC.

Scarecrow = nothing but beneficial.

Wonderfully logical and thoughtful. I fully enjoy and support the idea of Scarecrow's "attacks" being hallucinations: swarms of bees spring forward as projectiles, skeletons come up from the ground to support him, etc. Crane's one of my favorite Batvillains, and he became even more so after Arkham Asylum and his insane (excuse my pun) levels. NRS should draw from that and just be creative. :)

After Ares and Killer Frost I believe that Gorilla Grodd, Killer Croc and Darkseid will be unlockable secret fight so I won't include them.

  1. Jake Jensen - The hacker from the Losers. he has his gun for his more basic attacks, and for his super, perhaps he could crack into a government missile system and send nukes (well missiles, nukes I think would be a bit TOO strong) flying at his opponent?

I keep seeing Blue Beetle popping up. Only Blue Beetle I remember was one of the JLA B-Team that tried to take on Doomsday. It didn't go well for him.

Thought of another villain that I haven't seen crop up in many discussions. Star Sapphire.
