Tech Deathstroke: 4 new Bnbs/Quick Stands

also while i have you on the horn. Do you think it would be viable to do one of these quick stand things into trait, then do something like a neutral jump 3 xx 132 or something? I barely play so I have no idea if that'd work or if I'm theorying out my ass
Yup, Zoom= muffin

Quick stand into trait won't work. Trait is too slow.

The reason you won't see me doing these is because if I'm going for a jump in I'm following up with a 50/50

not d2. not 132. Neither of those are optimal followups to a jump in.

The only time to use 132 is for a punish (so without factoring in the jump in damage from muffin muggers original combo) and even then what muffin muggers doesn't tell you is that the ending f23 sword FLIP at the end of his combo will only work in the corner. I recommend just using 132 j2 323 12 flip for your punish.

And if I'm in the corner I'm using the 1 bar high damage corner combos.

So for the record, not that it really matters. But I do not recommend using these at all.

I'm leaving this thread before it gets weird.

Lately, I've been doing F23 after a jump in to stay at advantage and continue pressure after. The reason for this being that I get poked a lot when I go for the 50/50 after j3/j2, which could be an execution error on my part.

Yes, you get a free b1 or b2 after a blocked j2. Lex can't charge out of it. It works with J3 too but you have to land the J3 deep.

Well practice the timing in training. If you think you have the timing right and they're still poking you out. use jump in, d1 mb spin dash flip. Which will show them that they can't poke you out of jump ins and open up your 50/50's off of j1 j2 and j3 again.

Stop padding damage with J2 if you want to show off damage. And no the combo will not be consistent. I've been trying to implement B3s after D2 since it was discovered and it's really only worth doing after an anti-air.

Also in the first combo, F23 xx Flip will not work midscreen so you have to do 12 xx Flip. Take off the damage off of F23 and J2 and you have the real damage of that combo. Which I believe is 34%. Not worth doing an inconsistent combo for an extra 1-3%

trait is pretty gimmicky because of push block. but to test if they know the setup I usually do whatever that launches them in the air, into d2 juggle xx trait into ji2 132

While I don't think these are BnBs, they are cool combos nontheless. @Rampage254 actually told me about the first combo. I didn't know about the 323 d2 323 in the corner either. I tried finding bomb setups before but I found that all bomb setups can be escaped with a backdash and you would lose out on damage. The only practical bomb setup would probably be the one AnbuSasukePro posted on Watch Tower.

Yeah I don't know much about corner trait setups so in that instance I will defer to you.

How is d2 not an optional follow up? its + you have quite a few options.
Because why take a +1 mid that they can block when you can immediately force them to a guess situation between b2 and b1 after they block a jump in?

As soon as i finish work ill be uploading the vid. Been working on it for just over a month. Wanted to do more, but cant now since zoom has posted the tech. Its about 15 mins long. Its called Deathstroke extended story mode combo vid.

Ill be finished work in about 5 hours, so hopefully it will be up within 7.

The d2 in the corner to extend meterless combos is also a few months old, i use it here in this vid i made back in February.


Its on the 46% meterless.. However , i hadn't used it on small characters up until 6 weeks ago. So i give credit to Zoom for finding it too. my vids uploading now. Just wish i had more time with it.

some of these quickstand setups are pretty nice. im going to start messing around with these a bit.

btw off of the low you can do b1u2 f3 323 f23 flip and you get 33% also. i guess to put them in the corner its nice to get an extra 4%. but i would probably just burn bar and extend the combo with mb spinny since my execution is questionable to begin with.

but yeah some of these bnbs are kinda OD and i dont expect many players to really use it in tournament. i should start practicing that d2 b3 link though. double tap makes all tight links 800x easier and i can definitely get that if i practice it

flash has similar stuff with quick stands, but his are much better than deathstrokes

btw i just want to throw this out there, anything is possible with practice. if people gave up because of a 1 frame link then people wouldn't be doing touch of death combos in marvel and max stun combos in sf4 or anything like that. if you practice it enough you will be able to do anything under pressure. some people more than others. its just a question if you are willing to put the time into it. i find a combo as unpractical if its not worth the resources or if there is an easier combo that does more damage. some of these i dont think are bad at all. 132 isnt terrible off of a jump in becuase it leaves you at 0 on block. i would more so go for it after a neutral jump setup more than anything tho since you are already mixing him up there and you also sometimes arent sure what side you're going to land on
