Guide Day 1 HawkGirl Combos (Progressive)

Loving the hawkgirl at the moment. I love her violent attitude and she really has great moves. I have problems with linking the b3. I can never do it. As soon as she gets the 3rd hit in, I press b3 and I always miss. Any tips?

Someone recommended holding back and mashing 3.

Works most of the time for me. Definitely more consistent online than trying to time it.

I wouldn't really say do the b3 right as the 3rd hit of 123 hits. There's a bit of a recovery on it, so there's like a half second delay before you can actually do the b3. I wouldn't recommend just mashing it out though. It may work from time to time, but I think it'll breed a bad habit and do you more harm in the long run than just practicing the link until you get it down consistently.

If you guys can't manage to go for b3 everytime just go for f3
123 f3 b1 xx 4 2 bf2 does bearly the same amount of damages and is much easier to do.

Thanks for that. It works all the time now. Forget trying to learn it. I have a 50 50 chance of doing it when I mash out.
