I was wondering if this game was a good starting game for some one who is new to fighting games and wants to be good at them if not could you suggest me one

Dark Stalkers has always been one of my favorite fighters. Gonna get this for XBL.

Generally speaking, any of the old games will make you a better modern day FG player.

The cast of DS is just awesome, so much diversity.

yea, PSN weekly update is on Tuesdays and XBLA is on Wednesdays.

It's a great technical fighting game that's very fast paced. Yeah, you should get it. It also has some nice character tutorials.

Darkstalkers 3 (aka vampire savior) is the most popular one.
