Play Monster Hunter!
I 100% 1000% agree about changing his trait to grapple, and just making the input a direction + 4.

And give it a bit more freedom and fluidity.

It would make him really fun, and a good way to have him standout among the rest of the cast.

Otherwise he is just fireball guy.

I can't help my Fiction addiction.
I would like if his missles hit in the air as well or faster start up. Hell even just have some form of anti air centric missles would be cool or aerial missles to replace iafb.

You guys made a Cyborg thread AND DIDN'T TAG ME!!! I'm heartbroken :(

As for Cyborg, I have already accepted IAFB is probably no longer in the game. If not, air fireball better be an overhead and at least give him some better mid screen tools/ normals to compensate. Cyborg really struggled in the sweep and jump distance range. I'm not saying give him f2, just give him some better normals and strings, and potentially better mid screen damage.

Honestly, I'm confident that Cyborg will be better in this iteration, or if not, he'll get the needed buffs to be mid tier. I'm going to rep the character regardless.

MK1 is the best MK period.
Wonder if he has this type of stuff

At 1:13 she can pass a projectile threw these orb like sentry's allowing it to ricochet to the next one creating a maze for your opponent.

That's a great idea but for trait idk. Seems underwhelming tbh. He my still have this as part of his kit I just can't see it as a trait.

Someone posted this one Reddit. At 8:02 in the video, you can see the icon of Cyborg's trait:

It looks like a "Mother Box", which are the things you can buy that give you gear. I have no idea how it would work in-game as a trait, though.

After watching the Justice League trailer, I realized that Mother Boxes aren't exclusive to the Injustice universe and they have actually been apart of DC lore for a long time.

From Wikipedia: "They possess wondrous powers and abilities not understood even by their users, the gods of New Genesis. These range from teleportation (they can summon Boom Tubes) to energy manipulation. Mother Boxes have been seen healing the injured, including Darkseid himself, after he was beaten by Doomsday."

Mother Boxes were created by an Apokoliptian scientist, so they are often used by Darkseid and Steppenwolf, and they also often teleport users to Apokolips.

My guess is the Cyborg's new trait could be a multi-use trait like a lot of other characters have. Maybe he can use it heal like his old trait, or can use it to teleport for set-ups and combos like Displacer Raiden or Nash from SFV.

Ahhhhh DC comic research, I love it.

The mobile game was updated and characters now have access to more special moves. Characters like Batman and Superman got their Grapple Kick and Air Laser moves, as an example.

But it looks like we might have a glimpse at a new/reworked move for Cyborg at 2:14. It looks like his "Target Locked" move from the first game has been changed to be more like Sektor's Up Missiles from MKX.

Keep in-mind that this could be a mobile exclusive move, but considering that the other characters (like Batman and Superman mentioned above) got moves they actually have in the game, I expect this to be an actual move in the game.

So I watched the trailer for Scarecrow, and at about the 1:00 minute mark when Scarecrow is fighting Cyborg, is Cyborg using his healing?

All too easy...

Tyler said the healing is a gear move. There was one random video somewhere that showed his trait symbol as the mother boxes, he summoned one of them in this vid. They could work like Modok's analyze cubes where if you hit them with the mother box it enhances his other projectiles or moves the next time he uses them?

Cyborg's EX PF now appears to be a mid screen launcher. Also I'm guessing the ground drone is the trait as well? Fastforward to 3:28

Other:
-Still has previous normals and normals like f2, b2,
-Still has previous legacy combos b1,2, 3 and 113
-Still has EX ground fireball
-EX Techno tackle

Wow kinda miss the old power fist looks like his trait can be different drones. In the crow trailer he sent an air one forward but in this he puts it behind him. Maybe db4 ?
