Better to use f1b2-sunray
This man speaks the truth. I did this on a cornered opponent [f1b2>exsunray] and the ray comes out either right on top of the opponent or between the both of you(which is the best spot). I was in sun god when i did this so i blocked the wakeup and did b1 sgc tic throw, if it works you do the full animation under the ray meaning you gain a decent chunk of life and do a good bit of bonus damage on the opponent. Dont underestimate the power of a solar buffed regular throw either.

The sun ray does strange things to opponents though, it doesnt do an assload of damage but the enemy usually is immediately desperate to get out if they are under it. Also a tangential note, f1b2 sunray neutral into a d4 poke after wakeup usually puts the enemy right into the sunray. In fact i use d4 alot to just badger the enemy into the sunray to get them desperate.

I agree. It has just as much if not better properties as any other static dot moves imo. And that satisfaction closing a match with a ray brutality is oh so good. =D

Good conversions options and mixups for Kotal? They just block everything right after they finish their string =P

(I'm very new to Kotal)
You're not really going to open people up with Blood God, at least against people who know the match-up.
Blood God gets his damage from his opponents mistakes, and hits like a frieght train in the process.

Use the obsidian totem to turtle and bait, abuse his godlike mids and uses throws when you can

Ahh ok. Very different from whom I've played

Just from personal experience, opponents tend to block low most of the time against Kotal except War God. Use B2 frequently at max range after you've landed a knockdown, an uppercut, or throw. It is essentially safe, and if opponent tries to start pressure right after you can counterpoke afterwards.

he has no mixups so the best way to open an opponent up is to, like others have said, be patient, grab, poke, and punish. You an also make them real nervous by putting on crystal totem and running a pressure string and just deal about 20%chip. A lot of his pressure strings are frame traps too. Frametraps are a great way for kotal to open people up, b1 pressure etc. Really though, if your blocking is strong and you stick to the obsidian gameplan, you can just deal what damage you can and wait for a timeout cause you have a really strong advantage in a long game.

People that don't like Blood God are the same people that call soccer futbol. They generally hate hot dogs, pizza, burgers, brauts, and beer. They are the same people that see beautiful women and say it is shameful. They hate Christmas, Easter, the 4th of July, and New Years Eve. They are the people that correct you when you say gif or mame, regardless of how you say it. They hate both rock and roll and rap. They hate football and complain that cheerleaders are being exploited. They have a favorite college, but hate March Madness - and hate the NBA because they think playing in it takes no skill. They also shake hands like a wet noodle and blame violence on TV, in movies, and in games - every time someone does something violent or there is incident of violence. God Bless America - and more blood to the Blood God.

While Paulo controls the competitive balance, Ed Boon still maintains creative control...

...and he's a huge fan of The Rock.

Ed Boon wanted a completely unique style for such a unique figure. Paulo and the NRS team delivered.

We spend so much time pointing out faults, that we sometimes miss it when they hit grand slams.
