Lobo can B2U1 to avoid WCC. I'm pretty sure 113 works as well

b2u1 and b12 can avoid it, but both have gap, so it can happen that Grundy hits you out of it if he cancels it to string or d2...
113 can beat both regular and canceled version, only it's trickier to time it properly... I believe same goes for 112... both beat canceled WC for sure if you mistime it

If I were to read the cancel I'd just go for mb b3/f3

I'm not saying it's completely practical, only what works.

But If you were to make a read, why not have meterless option at disposal? I guarantee it works.
Look at it this way... if Grundy has no meter and you screw it up, you get hit by 12%, but if you don't he's down by 45%+. Small risk/big reward.
Throw it out occasionally to show your opponent he can't do corpse shuffle without a care in the world.

I'll admit it's in my mentality, to get the most out of every situation. I'm for whatever is practical. But I think it can be practiced and is an universal solution.

A good grundy will rarely do a walking corpse with no meter and not cancel it since several characters can punish on hit.

Definitely a good idea. But I've tried 113 a million times on my room mate and I think it's worked once. Even b12 and b2u1 have to be timed properly and they don't come out every time. But yeah if you can get the timing down for 113, that would most definitely be the best option.

I enjoy hurting you.
If only it was regular parry. =/ lol...

F2 also works. I like that better. More reliable and you kan go into your string or kombo punish after it.

Also, just remembered, I know Batman's parry works on at least the trait grab. I can't remember if it works on WC however.
