As with the last match, I'm a huge Bat-fan, but even I know when he's outmatched. Wonder Woman should've had his head, so going against him partly out of logic and partly out of fucking spite.

Yep same here. I love Batman in Gotham and in Batman books, anytime he is mixed in with gods and aliens, he is out of place and the writers have to come up with inane plot reasons why he is needed, or dumb everyone down in order to make Bruce be the only smart person in the room.
