Not Brazil...tehehehehehehe.where are you from?
Newsflash: the Batman universe is extremely popular and has maybe 70% of the most iconic, beloved, and recognizable characters in the DC canon.
I don't know why people are surprised at this; but there it is. If you don't like it, there's always Marvel
Y U NO GIVE CUTE ASIAN WAIFUS NRS?Btw racial diversity doesn't mean just blacks and whites.
no sadly, they should have kept batgirl being batgirl instead of crabgirl by picking the ninja batgirl cassandra cain.Y U NO GIVE CUTE ASIAN WAIFUS NRS?
Okay, comic noob here. Who is Cassandra? Is she one of the many Batgirls and was she of Asian decent? I'm gonna assume so since you quote me.no sadly, they should have kept batgirl being batgirl instead of crabgirl by picking the ninja batgirl cassandra cain.
she's a batgirl that was raised as an assasin, she's either eurasian or american-asian. she has a natural ability to read the enemy's movement and is faster than even batman. i think she uses weapons like katanas and shurikens.Okay, comic noob here. Man, the thing is that a lot of that actually has to do with the depth of Batman's character and his universe. I mean, essentially the guy lives in a world like you and I; he doesn't have any cheap shortcut powers, magic rings, ancient helmets of the gods, or 'easy' superhero powers. Instead, he uses a mind forged through years of study, combined with and unquenchable thirst for justice fueled by childhood tradgedy. In the past 5 years alone for Batman: 2 Live-Action movies, 3 separate cartoons (4 if you include him being a part of the JL cartoon), 5 animated movies (7 if you include the "Superman/Batman" ones and 11 if you include the Justice League/DC Super Friends), and 6 video games (8 if you include Injustice and the IOS ones). The other people combined aren't coming close to this.
This is your rant on drugs... DON'T DO DRUGSBatgirl really? Why not poison ivy? Hell Lois Lane wouldve been better. What about other characters that dont get noticed often. (like black canary, zantanna, static shock, black manta would've even been good) Talk about bullshit. Dear God. Why TF did i buy the season pass?? I could spent that money on a dime and some rollin papers. We don't want this whack character. Not to mention she looks retarded as fuck. Her mask looks twice her face. OMG i so could have had a nice blunt off of her but noooooo. I hoped for some decent dlc. If General Zod makes it instead of MMH Im throwing my goddamn system out the window. Thank you NRS for making bad choices once again. You never fail us.
Batman isn't the only character to use his intellect to win the day just saying also Batman has a ton of plot armor which gets him out of trouble way more than any ones super powers wouldMan, the thing is that a lot of that actually has to do with the depth of Batman's character and his universe. He shows no remorse, and never wears his heart on his sleve; yet there's an undercurrent of anger, hurt, and pain and wanting to do right. He outsmarts his enemies rather than outmuscling them. It's hard to write a deeper, more complex style of superhero, and he really stands out in a world full of DC heroes with 'cookie-cutter' obvious OP powers like "stronger than steel" and "faster than a speeding bullet".
Likewise the villians are complex and use all manner of trickery, they play with his psychology, and they are creative in their schemes rather than using magic to make up for intellect. It's just a well-conceived comic universe, and one of the truly crowning achievements in the entirety of comic history.
So does it deserve all that and more? I'd say, yeah it does.

Arrow has a tv show.So where is the love for heroes like Green Arrow, Blue Beetle (Ted) or The Question? Sure, Question is a bit more than a "non-superhero" but still, these people are just guys too but they get no love.
So he's so beloved because he's so emotionally closed off? Because he's dark, brooding, and doesn't show his his love, hatred, anger, etc...people flock to this type of character? Also, he does and has shown remorse before. Again, refer to my previous three people. I would think it's harder to write about an "unbeatable man" than "a guy that knows martial arts".
Joker, Two-Face, Riddler, agree. Along with Bane for two arcs and possibly Clayface. Penguin? Black Mask? Freeze? Ivy? Croc? Zsasz? Deadshot? These are not tricksters.
Deserving is in the eye of the beholder. I believe Animal Man deserves all that and more, I believe Aquaman deserves all that and more, I believe Blue Beetle deserves all that and more, and it goes on.
Arrow has a tv show.
Honestly though, I can see DC starting to push other series soon, with them gearing up towards the Justice League movie and branching out from there.
the new 52 CC looks cooler so they might notmy heart would be broken if next game we get fucking freeze over captain cold, then icicle, then chillblaine. FUCK.
yeah he pretty much is, he can keep up with flash who is god tier. I hope they keep with his gun though, maybe there's a chance he'll keep his looks and get back the gun in the comic.the new 52 CC looks cooler so they might not
the only reason Captain Cold isn't picked for games and shows is because of his looks makes me sad I mean the dude is the strongest Ice user in the DCU
I see. I wish more people knew of Green Arrow.. I personally find him 10x more interesting than batman.. Even though he basically IS batman with a bow. But he has a goatie, so by default he's better. And? There were people on this forum that still hadn't heard of him before he was announced for Injustice. Also, by "love" I mean by fans, not be DC.
So we have to wait another 7 or so years for anyone outside the big 6/7 to get mainstream attention.
I'm gonna have to agree with this. As a black person myself, I'd rather I would NRS look at it like: What interesting characters can we use, that would make for different kinds of gameplay? As apposed to: "This game needs more black characters!" If they were to put Vixen or Static in these games, it should be because of the former. A character's ethncity should never ever play a factor to their inclusion. It's one thing looking out for your own color, but it's another thing trying to say that a character should be chosen because they're not white.
