heres a little something i find useful.
When midscreen, if going for b31x3 and I miss the last one, i hit confirm it into b31f1, this generally hits opponents as they try to attack you after the whiff im sure you pros never miss this combo tho

yea alot of wakeups will hit raka before the f1 comes out,good few go through it aswell, it does catch opponent not keeping there eye on the ball.
i miss the 3rd b31 midscreen most of the time lol, better options off just two b31s anyway so its even out

Why are you going for b31 X3? Just do b31 X2 into f4 then 2,2 1+2 slices and you get as much damage being neutral on block. If they get wise to the fake frame trap you can still get a guaranteed 4 slices everytime.

I do too but OBS Toxic was telling me about doing the b31 3x into f4 and with practice it can work and I've nearly flawlessed someone one round by doing it 2 1/2 times (I dropped the 3rd b31 after the second time I reset with f4)..it's risky as hell but man when it works,.. it's great!!!

midscreen b31 x3 into f4 grants very little frame adv,you cant really follow up with much that a d1 wont beat or cant be jumped out of.
it takes away the opponents wakeup sure but imo it would be at the bottom of the list of things i do when b31 hits midscreen.

yea true that,..I'd never risk doing that against someone who knew what they were doing and knows the MU,..I only use it on noobs

My usual choice is D4 or F4, 4 (I like to get into the habit of comboing F4, 4 dash F4 on hit, plus its -2 instead of -7)...though if I'm feeling reckless (or my opponent has become very easy to read) then there is also the option of a just throwing out a blade charge. It is random enough to take people by surprise (if you aren't predictable with it). With Baraka, it is necessary to take risks sometimes to make people aware of Baraka's options. After you smash them in the face with a blade charge a few times, they'll be too afraid to do anything but block...which is what I want people to do when I'm playing Baraka.

indeed making people fear the charge is a must.sets up alot.
fear the charge & respect the blades

Baraka has the right to be a little more "random" than most other characters with his advancing special (can't duck it, like many others which is a pretty nice advantage). Even "unsafe" blade charges have their uses sometimes as long as it is a calculated risk.

Its awesome as long as your opponent doesnt figure out how to block it. Once its blocked you are at disadvantage. Really why would you use it when you can cancel 3 into slices for more chip and meter building?

3 B3 is more of a use once a fight type of thing.

i call that string the UsedForGlue special, he started using baraka randomly once and kept doing that string lol
its good for making the opponent think u whiffed a 3~slices cancel and hit them with the b3, just like with f2(4) or b32(2).
most people get hit with it case they've never seen it.

you can armor inbetween the two hits if you know the baraka MU well also, would take a good read on your opponents part as 3~slices cant be armored

i was going to be cheeky and just link to the full punishment guide lol

midscreen if you want to punish with f4, use f44, 4~Charge, (d4~charge works aswell because you get the extra height that she in air when hit by f4,4)
you can use b31 but seeing as mileena can block as soon as she lands unlike other "ball" block animations but that the b31 hits as if it was a AA and the juggle height gets all messed up.
if you block it while mileenas back is against the corner go into a U3 combo

I like to just use F4 and go for a mix-up. She's fairly high when you block it so you get decent advantage.
F44, 4xxCharge would be good if you need to steal a life lead quick though.

also if ya want to be a tricky fucker and mileena has 11%-17% health left but has braker use chop chop/ex chop chop.
only the 1st hit of chop chop is breakable, you have to eat the rest

Any Kitana tips? I lost to a zoning one in tournament. Every blade charge I tried to do was just out of range. Even EX blade charge wouldnt work. I would walk him down and then he would just ass out and start the process over.

As long as you're not right on top of him, Ass gets punished by Charge on reaction. I also like to check them with a spark after every long-range knockdown to try and catch them if they start trying to throw fans too fast.

Other than that, the match is patience, whiff-punishing, and counterpokes. If they wanna keep zoning, you can neutral-duck a fan and check with a charge withing range. If they're not in range, just keep pushing forward carefully and be ready to react to them Assing out.
Charge can obviously be used liberally within range, especially after a knockdown to catch them off guard.
