It does not re-authenticate every 10 minutes. It works like a million bucks! I have used xbox 360 controllers, PS 3 controllers and my xbox 360 fight stick on the xbox one...it performs flawlessly. I highly recommend if you want to use your old console accessories on the xbox one or PS 4. As for being banned from tournaments they have a tournament edition for the titan one but someone told me its not allowed either...but who cares? I don't play in tournaments anyway.
On the PS4 it reaunthenticates every 8.5 minutes. It is also tournament banned. On top of that it can be patched out on a sony firmware update.

The Titan 100% has to re-authenticate on PS4 every 8 minutes. Not on Xbone. Every converter like this has to do that on PS4 and Sony has bought it's way into being the tourney standard this year, so that's why they are banned. That's great and all that you don't want to play in tournaments, but this site is based around competitive online play.
I do play online but I cannot find decent challenges. Mostly scrubs.

Over 150 votes, over 70% of people having issues getting basic moves out. This is clearly a problem.

It's bad enough I have to deal with a walmart netcode and zero matchup knowledge but now I have to deal with my moves coming out if I'm lucky.

That's because you obviously need more practice. I never have problems with my moves coming out...are you new to fighting games? LOL! I have a 33% no meter quan chi combo. I also know some sick Reptile combos as well as Kano.

So I've noticed something, but I don't know if it's just me, my KB or something else. When my character is facing right (P1 position), I can input bf moves pretty much freely. This is because you don't have to even release b before hitting the rest of the buttons and you can do this even if you're very hasty with them. However, when facing left I must release b well before pressing anything else otherwise, for example, b2 will come out instead of bf2. Very annoying, and I'm not sure why is that.

Sometimes I feel that I need to even wait after releasing b before I press f... It's pretty bad.

Can anybody with KB/hibox test? Or at least compare your success inputting bf left-to-right and right-to-left?

Simple question. Feel like things arent coming out? Simplest of inputs feel like they don't come out sometimes.

An example is f3nutpunch with Johnny. I don't know why i cant do this string but it baffles me that I have the biggest trouble doing it.

I only make this thread because I know people are experiencing trouble too. Use this thread to give tips and share your concern.
Yeah, I actually am. One thing I noticed is how strict you have to be on inputs such as b,f. Especially meterburning it, and even more so when I am letting go of block.

Because letting go of block takes one frame, I realized I have to input things a slight second after.

Also for some odd reason I get wacky neutral jumps when trying to jump forward and I have no idea as to why and vice versa.

I don't know if this is in my head or not, but neutral jump punches seem to come out more consistently fast when I press left or right to punch.

Totally didn't know about that point at 9:00, holy crap. That's actually pretty awful as a default. They should reeeeeaaaally patch that out. i have a feeling it's screwing with a TON of people's combos...
This video is actually very very helpful.
This might be why I sometimes randomly drop combo's where I have to move.
I was not aware at all that directional input before a special is thrown out messes it up.
This is what was messing me up.

I have 0 issues with fb motions, or any motion for that matter. The first couple of days the controls felt odd, but I grew accustomed to it. Also, I play on the XB1 pad.
Can't wait for Max Catz to make a fight pad for next gen. I loved their Sega controllers.

when doing jk cancel into teleport i sometimes only get d, db4 instead of d,db, b4.
I'm on stick and i have to focus to pull it all the way back into b position.

I also can't do gun cancels with erron at all. either I'm not fast enough or I'm retarded

@Mikemetroid I've been playing online, and the lag input drops have been infuriating. I can honestly say this net code is probably worse than mk9 and injustice. I'll let them blame it on "servers that are getting hammered" for the next week.

Doing B+4 inputs on P1 side is a pain in my ass.
Trying to do IAFB's with Liu fails a lot on P1 side, but works pretty good on P2 side. I've got Input Shortcuts on(which helps a lot for P1).

Not sure if it has something to do with the DS4 controller.
Same for me. I play jax, his downward dash punch (bf2d) is a pain in the ass. I've NEVER had trouble with a bf input for a special until mkx. The damn dash punch especially on P1 side is incredibly difficult for me. No clue why. I'm also I'm a DS4. Wonder if it is the controller. Input shortcuts hasn't made a big difference in my play with jax. I still only get ex downward dash punch out around 65% or so. It sucks man.

I'm having no problem with combo inputs. I'm just having trouble adjusting to MKX's "no blocking during dashing" thing. MK9 had the perfect game mechanics for me.
Don't dash. Run, or walk forward. Walk speed is good in this game, and both walk and run can be canceled into block, strings, specials etc.. You can't run and cancel directly to njp though. :-(

If you want neutral jump off a dash cancel, you just perform a jump cancel (down then straight up) like you would in any other game.

So I tested playing MKX on @zaf's PS2 pad with his converter for PS4 and it worked perfectly for my BF inputs. I'm almost positive that the BF input issue is solely due to the controller and not the game itself.

Unfortunately there's an issue with the converter that only let's one player connect to the system so obviously it can't be used in tournament play or in casual matches... Hoping someone comes up with a reliable ps2/ps3 to ps4 converter.

I have this exact problem on xbox. Offline I can do back-forward without thinking, but sometimes online it won't let me do any back-forward moves when facing to the left. It's infuriating.

I second this. And I'm so relieved it's not only me. Sanity saved. I have no probs doing b3,3~ice ball b2, run, 123 slide from Player 1 position for example. But I whiff like maniac when on the other side, unless I am VERY CAREFUL with inputs, which means slower, which means whiff a lot anyways.
