So aris talk shit and it means the whole community talks shit? seriously don't you understand what im trying to say?
People look up to Aris as he is a major figure in the Tekken community. My point is some Tekken players will listen to Aris, an established player, say how the Injustice community is not very good, and therefore they will not pick up the game.

What we need to do is EDUCATE people on what terms like zoning and footsies are, and how it applies to Injustice

(Pro-tip: I have a stickied thread in gameplay topics that does exactly that, but no one reads it lol)

I may not have the best execution when it comes to fundamentals but i have a basic understanding of what they are and all fundamentals including footsies are in EVERY fighting game and if u think for even 1 second that IGAU dont have footsies, then go ahead and play SFxT which to me, is the WORST balanced game in FG history. Zoidberg said it right when he said "Footsies is using safe attacks to control your opponent and guessing their next move." I havent played SFxT in forever but i remember how broken some of the characters were, (Hugo)

Also, Psycho was a guy that said "ill help you with your fundamentals" but has only showed me how to dash and dash block and has avoided me since lmao
I haven't, i've just not seen you on since.. always on mine craft

Yes, but they have to due to the way the industry works ( cost of patching , dev time, submission fees, QA , ect). Unless they get a ton money constantly coming in from new characters and skins it isn't fesible to wait a year a patch.

A big problem behind the patches is this community. A lot of people hear bitch and moan about Character X being stronger or faster than Character Y. Nobody stops to think about the characters themselves and that's what upsets me. It's a game about some of our favorite super-heroes, but nobody really wants the heroes and villains to behave like they would. Making Superman as powerful as The Joker undermines the whole idea of the characters being "super".

The things that need to be fixed with Injustice (and fighting games in general) are exploits. For example:

Using a MB special but no meter is used.
Ridiculous combo loops and resets.
Wake-up and Anti-Air attacks that you can simply be poked out of.
Certain projectile moves that start up/reset way too fast.
Absurd hit-boxes that make avoiding a simple projectile or sweep kick near impossible.

So I don't necessarily think they are patching too quickly, but I do think they are doing it for the wrong reasons and "fixing" what doesn't need to be fixed.

Let's throw balance in a fighting game out the window because you want them to feel "super." Yeah, that will keep this game alive.

I prefer it this way: You release a few patches for the obvious nonsense over the first few months and then you leave it along for at least six months before deciding if more needs to be done. Again, exceptions for obvious stuff.

I'm gonna make this skill gap... disappear.
Since top 8 lineups, as well as the bottom 5, haven't changed much since day 1, I'm gonna go with no. They just don't seem to be very good at balancing to begin with... I get that they wanna do things slowly so they don't break things, but they release a character like Scorpion and leave in so many OP vortexes and such that are clearly too good and generally safe. Annoying. Hire more testers or actually read feedback from communities like this.

I like patches and would be happy if they released one a month until the game dies, providing it brings something to improve the game engine, buff a character that needs it or nerfs one that is OP. It keeps the game fresh and interesting.

I certainly approve of the d2 buff, holy crap that was needed. Way too many people online jumping like Mario and getting away with it.

Throwing balance out the window eh? Those examples I listed are how you could fundamentally balance any fighting game in general. Of course, over time certain issue per character may arise, but it hasn't even been 3 months since the game was released and all people do is bitch bitch bitch about every frame-rate like it's the end of the fucking world.

If you want to believe that I want Superman and Black Adam to do 10% damage every hit, please do so. I'll keep pretending that the lot of you bought the game because you liked the characters just as much as you like fighting games, not because it was an excuse to be an eSports "champ" who only cares about doing one combo anyways.

After MK9, it should be no surprise that NRS is not very good at balancing their games. I personally think each iteration of a game should have at least several months to breathe, outside of bugfixes and infinites/block infinites.

I expect that they'll continue to patch while they're releasing DLC, but once that's done, thats it, just like MK9. The game will be how it is, whatever state it's in at the time.

And the Flash buffs. He need it!

I haven't read the thread, but to answer the OP: Yes, there is too much patching too quickly. I don't play this game much atm (a few hours every week) and that's because I don't feel like putting time into a game that I can expect some changes to, possibly major, every 3 weeks. When Scorpion came out I loved using him but since the general consensus was people thinking he is too much, I didn't even bother playing him because the mentality of this community is get him nerfed and NRS listens. It's like, why pick up any character or invest a lot of time when a couple months later my character could be invalidated or i'll want to pick up someone else because another character was buffed?

Your last paragraph. You are beyond dumb. :16Bit

Fuck off with changing exploits. MUs would still be lopsided as fuck which is my entire point. I hate 13ers.

Same here, but what I think threw off this games balance is the hit boxes.
Catwoman can totally ignore footsies on anticipation. Its stupid, and should be fixed. This game should really only have a normal hitbox, and then big hitboxes thats it.
You leave my girl alone.

She doesn't get out of everything. Like you said, she has moves that help her out on anticipation, but it isn't free. She's not even plus on her b3 or f3. Mileena and Sonya fucked up people's footsies with their D4 low hitbox crap. There are marvel characters that get out of shit with their hitbox. It's just part of character variety. Let it go.

The difference is that they're listening to us now, so if we get a shitty game as a result of them paying too much attention then it's on us.
