You draw the line as an athlete if it requires an overall good physical condition of your body, and maintaining that physique. A runner has to maintain his or her stamina, physique, all year around, or at least in time for competition, same goes for any physical sport.where do we draw the line??? I do want to punch people who say cyber-athlete but i am the devil's advocate
if KDZ can be one of the best, no one should be consider an athlete.
dammmmmmnif KDZ can be one of the best, no one should be consider an athlete.
I disagree. Athletes are people who compete in athletics.By the way,
theres a huge different between: playing a sport
and being an athlete.
An athlete is 24/7. His entire life revolves around the sport.
Playing a sport is part time, you have college studies, work, friends, games, etc. It's not something that takes up majority of your day.
Too many people calling themselves athlete when they never gave 3-4 years, 4-7 hours a day of their lives to one sport. If amateurs walk around all day calling themselves athletes because they take part time in a sport, then whats the whole point of a title. Theres too many dedicated people out there to water the title down.
Theres a different between motor skills and athleticism also.
Having the dexterity to do Instant Nova Blast is a special motor skill.
Being able to clean and jerk two times your body weight or have a vertical leap of 36 inches is athleticism.
Injury reports will say "Out with carpal tunnel."

I agree with you lol. Reading that article made me cringe.
There's nothing physical about gaming.
It strains your eyes, causes unhealthy lifestyles if addicted to it too much, etc.
It's a hobby.
It does nothing to benefit physical health.
