Six years running, we are still officially the LONGEST running weekly tournament in gaming history!

We consider people who come as family. Never had a venue fee, never will.
Welcome to the show, motherfuckers.

Alongside USF4 and Smash 4, Tuesday is going to be a hectic night!

We now have a hard 9PM start time!

TIME: 7:00 PM EST (every Tuesday)
  • 7:00 PM - Super Smash Brothers 4 - Wii U - $10
  • 8:00 PM - Mortal Kombat X- PS4 - $10
  • 8:00 PM - Ultra Street Fighter 4 - XBox 360 - $10
- Smash 4 is run on the Wii U
- Mortal Kombat X is run on the Playstation 4
- Ultra Street Fighter 4 is run on Xbox 360

Sign-up and casuals for events start as early as 6:00 PM EST. Make it on time! These tournaments seem to be getting bigger as the weeks go by, so they take longer to run. As a result, we can't keep pushing them back further and further.​

RULES:
  • All games will follow the national EVO rules.
  • Smash 4 follows Evo custom movelist and stage rules
  • Mortal Kombat X is random stage select. If you lose, you can choose to stay, or random select again.
  • BYOC - BRING YOUR OWN CONTROLLERS.
  • Absolutely do not vandalize any of our equipment.
  • We reserve the right to search anyone suspicious.

8 on the Break is a family fun arcade location. Absolutely no alcohol will be permitted on the premises. If you are caught drinking, or drunk, you will be escorted out, without refund. As well, no smoking is permitted within the arcade. Be clean and courteous; clean up after yourself. The venue is provided to us in good faith of our attendees.​

And yeah, I've never had a venue fee for the last four years of FGC tournaments... and as long as I'm the T.O., we never will!

Turnout ranges between 12-20. The more we get, the more join!
These type of things tend to grow exponentially.

So me & my friend roachthroat will be heading up there tomorrow. cant wait to meet everyone!

as soon as schools out (this week)

we plan on coming every tuesday & maybe try and get these 3-4 guys we play with to come up to!

ill be calling to secure us coming. we may be a bit late he gets off work at 7 its about an hour or so drive.

sweet cant wait. i told more of the guys from my town about it but i doubt they can make it on such short notice.
but hopefully next week they can make it.

So it was great going to OTB and getting some offline matches in. everyone was super nice (except 1 person got hella salty on me will remain nameless)

it was great meeting all of you and being in such a great place.

Winterfell & at Lambro were the 1st 2 people i branched out and talked to very glad i did youre both very chill guys. same to you KDZ glad i could make it!

you will be seeing me,Roachthroat,Starwolf,Captin,and Mihilao a lot more. they just gotta level up a bit more first :p

you guys should try and get results posted on the front page here so that it would give 8otb more exposure and maybe PA/ DE/ NJ players will travel more to it!
