Don't underestimate yourself. I went to that tournament in January with no expectations. I brought this shitty controller and lost to Creepy first round because both my forward and up buttons would randomly get stuck. Then I somehow got 2nd. lol

Hey nordic there is a chance treadmill and triv might be a little late, they will text me and let me know. They should be making it right around 1:30, they are traveling 6.5-7 hours.

Well it didn't go as planned lol. I was stuck deciding whether I should drop kabal and use pad or hitbox but it wasn't because of that. I don't want to make excuses but those monitors really fucked me over. I do accept the loss and will learn from it. I'm trying to buy one soon hopefully so I wont have to go through that again. I was doing so good in casuals before the tournament and on nova's friday meet up. I'll be coming with full force next tournament. My kabal will be ready.

I really wish I didn't play on that one set up the whole time. It threw me off when I went to the other 2 when I had to play my matches. But anyways gg's to anyone who played with me. Sorry I couldn't be at my best.

Yeah I really wish those were all checked earlier. I hate when this happens at events. All those monitors on that side were set to 1080p and not 720p. My first match was on one of those stations and I thought the lag was just me until Blackula confirmed it.

My sincere apologies to anyone who played on a 1080p set up yesterday, I'll personally verify all setups in the future. As for the monitors themselves we made sure every setup was on an Asus VH236H, but it's certainly possible that a few of them could be "bad" in some way. Were there any 720p setups that you felt weren't up to par?

I was a little to focused on the projector/stream set up and didn't give the side stations the attention they deserved, my bad fellaz. And thanks for coming out rev0lver, surprised the hell out of all of us!

Great tournament, even though I really hated that huge time delay! GG to phase3, really cool guy and gg to Topper, you really ruined my day haha. Look forward to the next tournament! I'm going to take a break from this site and the game until school is over.

I won't go. More important to pass these exams, plus I got bodied bad this tourney and need as much time as possible to improve.

I can't look at TYM during this time period either, I just broke my rule haha. So, hopefully nobody txts me anything. Cya in 3 weeks ;)

No problem Nordic, there was a lot going on so I understand. I was only frustrated about it for about 20minutes. I accepted it for what it is and moved on. Don't worry about it though, it did not kill the overall vibe for the tournament. It was definitely an amazing experience and everyone seemed like they had a good time.

And to answer your question, the ones on 720 where great. The only problem I had was not going station hopping. It really killed it for me when I went to my first two matches. That was all my fault, no one else to blame.

I don't know what lag or frame data is so I didn't care. I played the same at tournaments then when I play casuals and got bodied as usual but Ill train my ass off for next tourny. I'm coming for SwiftTomHanks shitty sektor next time:rolleyes:


edit. If only I were still able to do this I could have won easily...
