If deadshot does so well in a lot of MUs and everyone is using him to get to top 8, then players pick him up for easy wins. Simple as that. Never said Sonic winning meant deadshot wasn't too good. Just that out of all the deadshot mirrors, sonic straight up dominated every single one.

True. "Dominated " wasn't a good term but he seemed the most comfortable in the mirror. Exaggeration is an easy habit of mine. You played great and probably have the most success with the character. I haven't followed the competition much but it seems your the first deadshot to be of note.

deadshot barely got nerfed at all to be fair. it doesnt matter what the community thinks, having deadshot be this good is obviously a problem for viewership. Dont get me wrong he can be good, just needs counters and not barely quasi-bad MUs.

This isn't a creatively designed game? Have you seen characters like Fate/Cold/Darkseid/Cheetah/Brainiac? They're super creative considering the types of designs we've seen before. Bdon is the only one we've really seen push Fate in a way we haven't seen before, and characters like Brainiac and Cheetah are super unorthodox for NRS games. It's a big step up from the last game where most variations were pretty similar in playstyle tbh. Deadshot is just one character, not the whole game.

or maybe nrs sucks at competitive design the first go around evidenced by literally every single game they've made so far. the community wants a good game before 2 year expiration date is up and you just want to scrub it up with prepatch aquaman forever.
