dab found out that you can still hit 3 s3s in the corner if you trait after the first s3.

I'm not gonna use it, way too impractical for an every match bnb. Just wanted to let yall know if you didn't already.

So anyone enjoy zoning with Supes? When not up close using his safe strings that is. He's fun, I think he's a good mix of keep away and rushing down when he needs to.

Did we figure out what the trait cancels are on block yet?
I started testing them but didn't finish everything, I remember something (either F2 or F23) being -2 because D1 kept trading with Firestorm. But I didn't extensively test it so I could be wrong. I'll get back on it at some point and post them results if nobody else does.

How do you reliably crossup with the divebomb? I don't know any real setups or tricks for it.
Really? Also you can otg so many ways. Almost every ender into divebomb otgs. I cant get it to not cross up. Really. either way otg divebombs scales like a mothertucker so honestly its not really worth it. After a big f23 combo the divebomb otg combo would do like 5-10%. Risk/reward not in supermans favor.

I can't get the icy breath after the f23~trait~f23, what's the timing for that, am I supposed to do the icy breath immediately after the second f23?

Any tips ?

Lol you seem to keep getting opened up by her F3. Aside from that, your Superman looks good. Just need to practice the matchup, such as backdashing her 112, using F2D1 or B1 to catch her low-profiling F23 etc...
Anyone still getting a load of shit for playing superman ?

Or just me ?
People are just being scrubs, take no notice of it. They complain that we only use one string w/out realising that if it's that simple then they're free af for getting bodied by one string. Bums will be bums.

It's been a while so Hello.

There is some notes I would like to share:
-If you time 3 correctly, you can punish the jump in, this useful when you zoning with lasers.
rather than that, the j1 is the best Anti Air so far (can interrupt Black Adam Dive Kick), the d2 got nerf pretty bad.
As for Rising Grab hmm I usually get trade with jump attacks.

-In mid range spacing use DF3 it's really good move as surprise low attack.
-F23~breath on block if they backdash use Super punch or DF3 sweep as punish for backdash.
I don't think there is a move that unclashable for Sup except B3 or F3. Also i tested the Dive Bomb & Heat Zap it's clashable... So If there is I would like to know.

-Super Punch is a low cruch move so let's say if you know the opponent is going to press the D1 then this is your solution. Because I notice there is spam D1 trash talking happens between the casual players lol so ether to use SP or MB B/F3.

But I have issue on punishing some moves in this game, such as D2 of Black Adam & his Foot Dive.
I don't know why when I press F2, D3 or B2 immediately after block I filed to punish it.
Is there a trick for this issue rather than spam the normal...

And thanks for your sharing knowledge it's help me a lot.

What's going on guys. I've made superman my main and wanted to get in on this discussion. How do you guys feel about deadshot vs. Supes? I honestly think it's 5-5. Idk if anyone would agree with my but if you play patirently it doesn't feel awful at all.

I think Superman probably loses. It's definitely a factor if a character can zone Superman and deadshot also has fast mids and 50/50s that can send superman back fullscreen.

For now it's probably 5-5 but it leans more towards Deadshot, with that Quick Shot recovery being nonexistent. Still, I've taken down nearly every Deadshot I've come across up to this point. I find that unless the opponent knows exactly how to keep a character out, you just need to be patient to win.

So for your playstyle in general, and this is all just my critiquing, you should be more aware of your spacing with your opponents. Having perfect spacing is tricky, but it can lead to really nice punishes on your opponents. Your zoning is pretty good, but I feel that it may be better if you did instant air Heat Vision and if you had more awareness of your opponents zoning tools. I highly recommend practicing an instant air dash as it can catch a lot of people off guard, and doing grab mixups more often. It'll add as another option that your opponent has to consider.

For the Poison Ivy player, watch her zoning, and just block when she gets her trait out. If your see an opportunity to get rid of the trait, take it, but otherwise play it safe. Other than that, just watch your spacing with her.

Your Supes ditto was pretty good, just watch his wakeups. His Rising Grab and Flying Punch are both punishable on block (Rising Grab more so on whiff) and if you get the read right, you can keep dealing damage to them. Watch your wakeups too as a balance, but you generally knew when not to wakeup with Supes. Good job there.

And for Atrocitus, mimic your first win against him. Watch out for his cat and don't try to zone it out. If you can punish his activating of his trait, do so. Otherwise play it safe. Other than that, it's just zoning him out and standard Supes stuff. Nice first win against him.

All in all, you got a good Superman that just needs to be polished. If you take the time and practice with him and perfect him, you'll go far.
