Am I seeing characters tech combos with some type of meterburn?

* 0:37 for grodd; ~1:30 for batman

Grodd can dash under highs. Also the characters and full screen look like the perfect size.

At a minute 29 in the reel, it looked like Batman did a burst or something today et out of a jiggle from Grodd. It may just be the picture on my phone being Hank though can't tell.

I understand where you are coming from, but given that they said that the roster will be bigger than before, and most likely with many newer characters, it's probably due that, so, if older characters looking the same feels underwhelming, at least there will be a good amount(i think) of new characters with new moves to enjoy.

It'll be *really* interesting to see what kind of overall system changes and fine adjustments NRS is going to make to things like this...and what the new characters can bring to the table.

So many expectations have been altered now...its crazy...

At 0:40 the cat (Dex something?) attacks, and at 0:45 he goes. Probably a summon and not some piece of gear, as some people especulated.

I think Grodd does it as well against Supergirl.
Her EX eye trantrum wallbounces him, and he breaks out of it.

I'm in favor, hopefully there's some other prerequisite to breaking other than just having 1 meter..also nobody used push lock anyway so nobody will miss it if it's replaced

I remember when they showed MKX at E3 the very first time, the returning characters had completely different normals and animations.

Push block was essential in Injustice 1. It was used very commonly. Especially against Doomsday/Batgirl.

I'm glad to see moves returning, gives the series a sense of consistency. While nothing is set in stone, balance-wise, this is the best choice.

Not sure if they've confirmed whether or not variations are a thing...but at the *very least* I now suspect each returing character will have an Injustice 1 variation.

I don't think it's because of it being early.
I think they are using legacy animations so they can have a larger roster, and cut fewer characters.

Also I think there's some sort of combo escape/breaker in this game too but it looks like if you were to read it you could counter that breaker. This game is going to be so fucking hype.

Pushblock was used all the time at the highest levels. I remember people like saltface, jupiter, ducky, and pig used it all the time.
