Hey guys, new to Hawkgirl so sorry if this has been found before. I was exploring anti wakeup vs Green Lantern when I found that 3 canceled into Wing Evade can cause Lanterns Might to wiff even though you appear to be in range. I also got this to work against Zods Phantom strike and Ravens Singularity. Have a poor quality video for Lanterns Might. Any ideas on why this works?

Simply because we has invincibility frames, this was known yes.
I've tested nearly every wakeup in the game aside from zod, only batgirl, harley and ds can screw 3 xx we with a wakeup attack.
Glad to hear d2 is faster.

I think they tweaked her downward air mace...it comes out faster and more smoothly...at least it seemed so.

I'd have to try it out, and d2 too to confirm it, but I still can't find the darn skins on the EU ps store =____=.

Oh D2 is def. faster...plus you can combo off of it much easier. Like if you land a D2 right next to them while grounded, you can almost walk forward and continue to combo. Also, you can no longer do this combo (because of the D2 buff), B23, D2~MC. The MC whiff's now...

Can you react better to jump ins like DS' j3 or bat's j2 offline and online? Can you react consistantly?

Hi guys, took an Injustice break to play SF4, but I'm missing HG too much. I was just wondering if she got any tweaks in any of the patches that have come out yet? If I'm gonna play Injustice, I think I'm solely gonna play as HG.

Edit: I see there's a thread for HG patch changes, my bad:p

Does Hawkgirl have a KDZ okie doke?

Check at 4:41


KDZ, a Superman player, uses Superman's diving bomb attack after a knock down as a cross up.
Her Wing Evade 3 after a knock down seems like it would set up a similar okie doke situation/mind game.
I think it may be worth some testing...

Hey guys i just found sometihinh...
I was searching for something to make better my pressure introducind B2,2 soo...
I did B2,2~Wing Evade 3
And if the wing evade hits after B2,2 and you make a jump in 1 or 2 it will hit the opponent waking him up
I found this as an oki... It works better than Catwoman's ji1 after 1,F2 try this out...
Also if the opponent blocks it you can continue your pressure

^^^ But you must guess if your opponent is going to wake up and has good wake ups like Frost, Wonder Woman etc... If you guess they will wake up you can cancel the jump into trait and throw a downward air mace or dive kick

Didn't know you could do an air special move after the ending frames of a whiffed air normal. You can do ji2 air mace charge (xx flight and more stuff) to play with your opponent.

As a note, there was a general buff to all human uppercuts.

I can't decide which of those skins I like more, the wings on BN are nice, plus I like the Super portrait a lot, but that zombie skin... whereas the E2 is just purtty, but also very blue which I'm mixed on.

Also about Zod's trait (since it was mentioned above) grab it's massively negative on block (-20ish give or take).

Blackest Night has kind of grown on me, really love how the wings look like tentacles and the mace is godlike, but Earth 2 is still the best in my opinion.

Also, 3, 2 MB mace charge doing 28% (nothing new, just remarking on how easy it is for the damage you get, it's comparable to some harder to time bnb's heh).

I've been trying to end more of my strings in mace charge lately in general too.

So i just found out that you can fly cancel Hawky's flight normals. You can combo off that shit! It looks dope as fuck o.o
imma land this on someone at the evo stream lol.
