Paulo clarified this in another thread. He said "universal" was the wording they used. According to him, some characters' D2 was untouched, which makes sense.

This whole Scorpion thing is pretty stupid considering our community didn't even notice the difference between pre-patch and post-patch scorpion. Which really makes it hard to believe that our community really understands scorpion yet.

I'm really impressed with SaltFace. Just going to show you put in your work with your character you will see results. I'm still tripping out on CDjr using Scorpion and still got beat lol.
When has PL used Scorpion I tuned in late, I've only seen him used Black so far?
Lots of upsets, which I'm happy to see them. I love it when things don't go the way people planned because that shows progression. All this talk about ban this and ban that and a straight up Harley makes it. I appreciate how Salt is sticking to his character, MUCH RESPECT. I wanted to see KDZ go even farther but hey, he did well. To me his is still the best Superman out and he still has EVO to prove it.
Now the question is this, if PL wins NOT using Scorpion then what? Will that mean the community is lazy and incompetent? :rolleyes:

I knew he'd make a difference, 3 scorpions in top 8. Not surprised tho because scorpion is just that deadly. There's a good chance scorpion takes CEO, will that lead to him being banned from evo????? maybe.

OK, nobody ever denied that Scorpion was really good, but can we at least agree that a lot of people's frustrations with him got the better of them and they didn't bother truly learning the match-up? I'm not talking about those that grind it 24/7 and still lose, but those who don't notice the difference between patched and unpatched Scorpion.

Honestly PL and Reo would probably be where they are now with any other character. There were plenty of scorps in this tourny and they all lost. CD jr got sent to losers with his scorp. You act like scorp is untouchable.

I never said Scorpion was untouchable. I only said he would make a difference in this tournament, which he did.

I think you and the other players who claimed that Scorpion was "fine" need to apologize to the community for being wrong.

Good post. This culture of "oh my god this character is good ban him" culture is really annoying me to wits end. I can't only imagine how it makes NRS feel, all this extra overtime they have to put into the game just because people are lazy and bad losers.

Deg also lost with Scorpion then went to Harley.

REO is the only one who went full Scorpion, and LBSH REO can win with just about anyone.

Well after EVO there really isn't really anything Injustice wise worth attending...is there? BTW I've enjoyed watching you play for a very long time. If I weren't in the military over seas I would love to come to watch no only you but all of the Injustice and MK community!! Really hate to see a good one go!
