- significantly less advantage on trait cancels

Hopefully some Frost tech is shown next month to make up for the 4 nerfs to her. v_v

That shits all rumored. Idk why you added "patch 1.05" it's extremely misleading

I mean they should absolutely nerf that block string vortex and trait cancels but I have no idea why they'd fuck with slides damage scaling. I wouldn't count on that rumor ever happening and IMO NRS would be insane if they did

That'd be the patch #, but most rumors were confirmed so far. Hopefully NRS pulls a Microsoft.
Yeah it's just your quote made it appear as though this was posted in some patch notes thread or something. It's just been rumors tossed around

Slide damage scaling was not confirmed I don't think.. In fact I'm not even sure where anyone heard that. First I heard of it was from m2dave and I'd take that with many grains of salt. (No pun intended... Teehee... m2dave... salt...)

Does anybody know if the 50/50 after the MB freeze, f 1,2,2,4 will work anymore ? If not, can anybody think of another 50/50 to abuse? Also, does anybody have a really good 1 bar combo that does the most damage... because she is getting her damage scaled.

F112~4 won't set it up, but standing 2 will. It's +22 on hit so the 50/50 is truly inescapable. So after the freeze, instead of nj2 f112~4 > f3/slide, use nj2 2 > f3/slide.

There are a lot of ways to set up vortex aside f112~4 and some of them are much better, hopefully its not discovered until EVO, so Frost dont get nerfed again, lol.

Does anyone have a list of opponents moves that are -8 or more that end with KF in F+3 range so we can armor f+3 them? I would make my own and post it but I don't know how frame data works because there is no active frames listed and guides say to add active frames + recovery frames + start up frames.

Can anyone explain this? Does anyone want to make this a community project? (like each person does 1 character and a second person checks it or something?)

We could also make lists for

whiff punishing, guard punishing with:

slide, flash freeze(not sure if this is viable punish but I'd like to try), Daggers(quickest), Iceberg, MB Iceberg into slide (list all/optimal punish) something like that.

I heard armor activates on the eighth frame in this forum but I don't know if it's true because I don't have any crt to test frame data.

3 4 b1 slide is so much easier than 3 b1 slide...is 3 b1 slide reproducible online in 3-4 bar conditions nearly every time with practice?

Just look at the frame data and see what you get the most advantage off on hit. It is honestly not rocket science.

Well u3 is an untechable knockdown so it doesn't lead into a true 50-50 since they can wakeup from it. I meant a move that has advantage that leaves the opponent standing, which eliminates the possibility of a wakeup move.

What options would you do with Killer Frost to attack them RiBBz22? What's the current go to video for high level Frost gameplay?

I don't really understand your question. What do you mean by what options do you do to attack them. I honestly never use f23.

Here's some questions off the top of my head.

  1. Do you spend 2 bars on the overhead "any string" xx df+MB?
  2. How often do you air dash into an attack? Can all 4 variations of IAD be done consistently on a pad or is that territory for a better controller?
  3. Do you ever play the mindgame of nj2 2 into charge trait of the last remaining bit (because they expected an attack) and then attack.
  4. Is F+3 into DB+2 Mb a good combo starter?
  5. When do you use b+1? It seems super slow to me and I don't like its success rate. I must be using it wrong.
  6. What is the best thing to do when your F+3 or Slide is blocked?

1) Yes sometimes I will use it towards the end of matches after b1 since it hits low to overhead and most people aren't expecting it. It is good to end a match with I think. Other than that I don't really use it much
2) I use it sparingly. More of a surprise cross-up tool because against a lot of people it is easily AA'd. I think it is better off of setups where you are spaced at the distance where the move will cross up.
3) No, I always go for the 50-50 and don't risk having someone push buttons so it would hit me or possibly back dash or jump out
4) I always do f3 into slide. It leads to a better juggle and it is safe on block.
5) I use b1 to start the 50-50 when I am at advantage or sometimes I will use it on people after a knockdown and time it so most of the startup frames are being used when the opponent is getting up.
6) When f3 is blocked you are at -5 I think and have some space between you. I like to back dash or slide here.

When slide is blocked you have a lot of options . Since you are right next to them at -4 frames, you can back dash, jump away, neutral jump, parry. I will normally back dash here.
