I broke my TYM silence because I agreed to make ONE post on TYM should someone end up making a $500 donation on the KN charity stream. Here is my ONE post and I feel its something that should be said so the community can move on and stop complaining now that the ruling is in.
I recently did a podcast in which 4 top community members (me included) spoke about the possibility of banning Scorpion..
I have never spoke up about banning him before because I fully know that I am a bad player who doesn't understand the game, I just assumed that the top players would understand Scorpion.
Recently, there has been a FLOOD of top players that have in private urged us to speak out publicly and voice the community concerns, which is what we did. They all voiced that he breaks the rules of the game because what makes him top is the ability to abuse the games block scheme because he was designed for a game with a block button.
When I saw players who were actually good at the game coming forward, I decided to join others in speaking out the concerns of many.
HOWEVER.. TO's have spoken and Scorpion will remain legal. At this point we all need to shut up and move on.
Fact is, I...WE...YOU.. are not as good as these players which is why we lose. Its hard to admit, but it is unfair to talk about how much better you are when the other guy is crushing you. It always easier to blame the character instead of blaming ourselves. The Scorpion players have done their homework on us and a lot of their match ups, I don't think its fair to say that their reward for the time they spent in the lab is to have their character banned. Take him into the lab to learn to fight him. Rather then blame the character, realize that you just need to get better.
