Yup, people should give credit where credit is due -- Valle is a good player and he made grand finals; that should speak for itself.

I only use characters with wakeup scoops.
-Major props to Tyrant and his Grundy for winning the tourney. I severely underestimated your Grundy only to eat my words and washing it down with swamp water.
-Major props to Alex Valle and dat Batman for making it to grand finals. The fundamentals were too strong for me, and the set between us was a nailbiter at it's finest.
-@LEGEND STOP GETTING TOP 8 with your godlike Sinestro. We still need some buffs dude.

I'm not attacking all of them only that ones who think we suck at mk9 and injustice.
I have nothing but respect for Alex Valle, he is one the few that can give Daigo a good fight on ssf2 which I love to death since it was my first fighter back in the arcade and snes era.

But let's face it, most Cashcom players are d-bags and always trash talk our games and the community.

People trip me out. EVERY single FG, high level tournament players go w/trusted and true top chars who are reliable. Very rarely in ANY FG community do you see a large amount of mid/low chars. Why are people so surprised? People act like Injustice is the ONLY game to do this, where as SF series (every single one of them), Tekken, Virtua Fighter (even though it's balanced, tiers exist), MvC series, MK, etc. Pick a popular FG, it has obvious tiers.

most capcom players spend zero time thinking or talking about MK players...unfortunately the reverse does not seem to be the case

VF doesnt really have tiers, and if they do high level players rarely stick to them. Same thing applies to Tekken UNLESS it is in the U.S., because U.S> is chock full of tier whores.

Not true at all, go watch some streams or srk front page and you will see all the hate from Cashcom fan kids...

Also filip champ did call us out... But you wouldn't know about that cuz you just joined a few weeks ago and probably don't even know who Reo or Tom Brady are.

Not true at all. Tekken and VF both have tiers and top players in other countries typically use high or top tier characters. Rarely do you see low tiers do well even in international tournaments and the occasions you do such as the old tekken 3 tournament won by a jack player you'll notice that players failed to take advantage of the matchup for whatever reason. In the case of the jack player people didn't do heihachi's unblockable after a juggle where it was guaranteed for massive damage. through the entire tournament it was only done once when its basically a win button. NIN, Knee, and holeman played high/top tier characters as examples.

Follow Grundy user here. I have to agree that grundy is a very good character that has a small handful of very bad match-ups. (IMO hawk-girl, black adam, and superman are the toughest ones) if it wasnt for those match-ups, he would be at the top. But I guess you could say that with alot of characters. Grundy players should def have a secondary to deal with those. (Cough cough....scorpion) Scorpions teleport can deal with the zoning of those 3 grundy killers.)

Grundy has sick wake-up mix up where opponent has to guess on wake-up and if they can correctly and don't push block, they have to guess another 50/50 mix-up after a combo string. He has great mobility, great anti-air, great damage, and great armor. He has all the tools.

Tyrant is very good with him and has put in the time and it shows. I do have to agree that the tourney was only around 30 players and tyrant didn't seem to have to work his way through grundy's tough match-ups. I'm not taking anything away from his win. He played great, but the true test is winning a major when you have the big dogs running with top tiers and counterpicking against grundy.

If tyrant is telling the truth and says he won't switch from grundy no matter what, then he has a HUGE uphill battle ahead of him in these majors. Especially if he runs across black adam mains. etc.

Korea is dominated by a kuma/panda player. Point nullified.

VF is balanced enough that people play everyone.

Only? What other weekly gets even close to 38 players? And if Superman and Black Adam are Grundy's toughest match-ups then yeah, Tyrant has to fight a lot of those considering every other socal player uses them

Uh, did nobody notice RDK Godspeed struggling against Twisted's Nightwing...What the hell was up with that? I don't want to call anybody out, as an online warrior myself, but wingding spam and Escrima d12 all day beats Black Adam all day, apparently? Embarrassing to watch as a NW player...
