So who here lifts, does cardio, MMA, dieting, etc? What supplements are you taking (legally of course)?
I've been working out for the past 10 years or so since my sophomore year in high school. I try to have a healthy mix of cardio and strength training.
Last year I really took my cardio to another level by incorporating the BEST single and cheapest workout I have ever done. Jump rope.
I started off slow doing three sets of a hundred and built up over two months to doing between 10 to 15 sets of a hundred reps each set. It completely replaced my jogging and elliptical workout and I've noticed better tone and definition in my legs and abs and my endurance has been increased to a new level and noticed my strength training goes easier with less lactic acid build up and better recovery. (Ill cover that in a little bit).
I'm keeping my strength training simple and to the point thanks to my friend who has gained great results from focusing on one muscle group a day for six days a week.
Supplements I am taking is a "natural" OTC testosterone booster called Hexaghen IGF-1 which helps recover muscle groups, repairs fibers, adds growth on the cellular level and keeps it there even if you stop taking the hexaghen and you keep working out.
My friend also turned me to this Pre-workout drink called C4 by Cellucor which helps give you a better boost through your cardio and strength exercises, decreases lactic acid build up so you have better endurance and less struggle for more sets and reps and you don't have that crash post workout that you have with other supplements. The biggest plus for me is it only contains five calories and one gram of carbs for those trying to cut weight and get more tone.
So this is my little write up. Share your workouts, supplements(legal), and stories.
We can always learn from each other and give people some motivation to change their lives for the better.
