timing and spacing is extremely strict. it's hard to punish mini gun, but this is one of the best ways i know about. you really shouldn't be getting hit by miniguns unless you mindless dash in/fullscreen charge for no apparent reason
The thing I hate is that you're chasing this guy down all day and then he just miniguns you away on block. Not on hit. But yeah, I think I'm getting a feel for things.
 
Wow a while ago it seemed to be dead around here I'm loving all this activity. His playsytyle is the most natural to me out of all the characters in the game

So I've been in the lab trying to figure whats the best anti air combo i could come up with.

What I can figure is the :d2 is a slow but only viable combo-able anti air on reaction against a decent few jump ins.

So the best I could come up with was...
1.:d2xxTrait LK,LK,LK,LK,LC,LC,LC....for 34%. so trait used with no mb required.

2.:d2 LK(mb) 11, :l22:r3 FU 0r LC. single mb.

is there a better anti air combo starter and combos to go with?
 
Flash is one of the only characters I enjoy playing. I always feel like I have to work my ass off to win. I love that. These combos are great. Def opened my eyes to some different looks.

That's the thing though, when you do win it's satisfying you were able to pull off the execution and look good at the same time. I feel exactly the same way :). Glad this thread was of some use to you

b22~MB flash kick~trait, d2, j2, j2, j2, j2, 32 flash uppercut

b22~ MB flash kick~trait, d2, b3, dash forward, j3, j3, 32 flash uppercut

Let's find good combos 1 meter no trait including sonic pound MB starter.

b2, 2, sonic pound MB, dash, d2, b2, 2, f3, db3. 32%, online legit.
b2, 2, sonic pound MB, dash, 3, 2, charge. 32%, hard online on small hitbox char.
b2, 2, sonic pound MB, dash, d2, 3, 2, charge. 30% easy to do.
b2, 2, sonic pound MB, dash, b2, 2, f3, db3. 34%. Need some practice to do constantly.
You also can gimmick with b2, 2, sonic pound MB, dash, d2, dd2, f2 or f3 for crossup (the slide can be delayed to hit the opponent when he's still on the ground, wakeups can counter it obviously).
 
i have a question for the first beginner combo(just starting flash and yea...lol) do i do all those moves just wondering because i don't get what the "/" mean can some one explain?

I've found that B3, jip3, (walk forward slightly) 11, b22f3, LK gives 38%. Not a bad option if you need to mb a B3 against jump-ins.

I'm pretty sure that it's possible to do this combo using 21 instead of 11 against some characters to get an extra 1 or 2%

Yeah it definitely seems possible, but 11 seems much, much easier. I have terrible execution so I'd rather give up 1-2% for something I can do in my sleep.

hello guys, i want some tips to improve my combos for the most practice

my mid screen bnb is starter - LK+MB, 11, b22f3 uppercut (38%) --- i know i can do 21 instead 11, but it requires almost specific height so i ignored it

corner combo - starter - LK+MB, 11 (4x), 112, uppercut (42%) --- any other possibility in corner combos ?

trait (works anywhere in the screen, but i prefer to use it mid screen, if i am in the corner, i do the corner combo)
- starter - LK+MB , trait , LK(4x) , B22 xx LK, 3 2 uppercu (53%)

i already know the 61% combo, but i really cant use b22f3 in the last part, the enemy hits the ground before F3 LC
and i already know that sonic pound is better in scaling than LK, but the game doesnt decide if the enemy will fly foward making me to use dash after the trait or if they will hop over my head so i just need to wait a little.

so, theres something "easy" to add in my combos to make them stronger ?

In corner you can starter, 11 x4, d1, d2, d3, sonic pound MB reset or 11 x3, 1, 1, 2, LK, sonic pound MB reset.
Offline and damaging corner combo : starter, sonic pound MB, b3, NJ3, 11, 11, 112, charge for 47%.

BCE : this is what I'm doing : starter, sonic pound MB + trait, dash, 3x LK, b2, 2, LK, b2, 2, f3, charge. 58%, viable online.

For the LK MB starter it's easier to do the LKx4, b2, LK, b2, 2, f3, charge so even if it's hard after the sonic pound, with some practice you can easily succeed after the lightning kick (no dash needed so it's much easier to LK them once the trait is ON).

You can also try to do 3, 2, charge instead of the b2, 2, f3, charge at the end of every combos, it is still easier, and it may reset the opponent in stand position (if you delay a lil bit the 3, 2) and if the reset happens, just grab him as fast as you can before they understand what happened at the end of the trait ^^
3, 2, charge does the same damage than b2, 2, f3, at the end of the combo if I'm not mistaken, at worse it will do like -1% damage.

i didnt know i can combo B3 after sonic pound mb, thanks for the tip, but i really hate this super slow B3 of flash, its completely unreliable. i gave up to combo lk+mb D2 B3, and also this B3 after sonic pound mb on corner is hard to link.
the only thing good about flash B3 is its 2 hit, so he can always win armor B/F3 clash

It is meterless and does almost the same damage as your current meter burn combo 41-42% I believe. If you have trouble you can just do 11 twice and still get like 39% damage which is great for non meter.

i tried that, but the lk always wiff and in the page 1, the desc says this combo depends on the stance of the chars. what i really wanted to discover is a reliable way to use B3 besides using some backgrounds like atlantis or F3 > B3, a lot of times i just didnt get the extra damage with transiction

Doing sonic pound MB, b3 in corner is easier than you think (easier than using d2, b3), you just need to know when to press b3. But I don't like crazy combo in corner anyway, I prefer doing something around 35-40% and get an easy reset instead (which will give you 50-60% in total dealing 2 meters).
 
Guys help me out please. This is the only barrier I have between me and sweet flash ass kicking. I can not for the life of me get his freaking lightning kicks down during trait I can only get 3 and that's if they come out

for me, the release check ON helps a lot, during the animation of the kick, you do the qcf motion and as soon the animation ends you press the 1 button
