... Obviously if theres a distance Superman's f.23 cannot cross that Bane's b.23 can, it shows that b.23 covers more distance.

No really, its different. Physically, F23 travels a longer way.

What you are making a distinction on, is backdash distance. So, you can say "supermans backdash is worse than banes" but you can't say "banes B23 travels longer than F23"

So uh..........has anybody actually broke down Bane vs Bane? Me and Doombawkz played for about 3 hours last night online and found out quite a lot of fun stuff w/the mirror match

All the rules that would normally apply go out the window in the Bane mirror. It's definitely the craziest match to watch. It basically comes down to what armored special you're using against the other guy's armored special.

If you're opponent likes to use specials on your wake up, Venom Uppercut trades and goes through all of them. It's full combo punish on block though.

If I'm running 20m forward and you are 40m away running 20m towards me, we are both covering 20m but one will get there first.

Backdashes are not universal.

Look at the Jokers backdash, which is probably the worst, and Banes.

Backdashes are not universal.

Look at the Jokers backdash, which is probably the worst, and Banes.

They are both covering the SAME backdash.
As in I went to practice with Bane vs Bane and punished a Bane backdash with b.23.
Then I went to practice as Superman vs Bane and couldn't punish a Bane Backdash with f.23.

Technically no, outside of superman's super I don't think most people can on block. We can however do a venom charge in response, and that'll work about the same.
