Breakthrough THANK YOU, NRS!

My english it's not good
I know that it's MU stuff, I'm finding Batgirl not very hard to counter. Always block high to prevent teleport, dodge or carge batarangs, punish hard if teleport is blocked, don't jump(teleport normally hits you there)...

I don't know if it's due match up concerns, or the patch changes are gdlk

Her rang only does 1 hit. She never had a chance. :(

What hard knockdowns does bane have to get this setup? Besides sweep. By hard knockdowns I mean ones you can't roll out of
Against most characters (or at least the ones that I tested this with pre-patch), following a succesful BF2 or DB2, Bane could dash and buffer a cmd grab to come out at the end of his dash. This would catch jumps, back dashes, and anything that's not an invincible wakeup attack (assuming venom is active). Delaying the input by a few frames would venom through invincible wakeup attacks for a grab, and would only be avoided by an immediate jump. It's essentially the same cmd grab trap as following a corner MB DB2 with cmd grab.

I've never really seen anyone post about this before, so I'm not sure if it's fraud tech or whathaveyou. At any rate, a faster dash combined with venom will only make this easier to do.

This is the type of tech I'm looking for, thanks very much! Will test when I get home

I've never seen anyone talk about it, even though as Bane you end up landing BF2 all the time, as well as the occasional AA DB2 or as a combo ender. It's a 50/50 where the only escape option for the slightly delayed grab is to wake up with a naked jump, no roll (which is an unappealing option for most).

You could always get another one before the patch if your timing was on point, but it was difficult. It's just easier to catch a character with a fast dash now.
Wait, so after a command grab you dash and get another command grab guaranteed?

yes you can. and going off what legion47 said you could always get it pre patch itwas just harder now with the patch timing is still sort of needed but because of his fast dash and having venom activated its almost always gaurenterd

I don't think cmd grab gave you enough advantage to both dash and get a guaranteed cmd grab. Meanwhile, a cmd grab without the dash could be back dashed on wakeup. This is why I like to end combos with venom upper or double punch--the advantage is so great that you always get the time for a dash plus the cmd grab, giving them almost no options to escape the grab.

I dunno...the new buffs are definitely an improvement but his fundamental problems are still there. I still get completely bodied by Black Adam and most able Superman/Batman players.

But, maybe I'm just a scrub.

^ Yes, but that's why you condition them to be afraid of that option using delayed venomed specials.

Anyone downplaying the buffs is crazy. You can go Venom lvl 3 all day against most characters. The 6 second cool down is fast as hell. Ending a round as Venom runs out means it'll be ready to go almost immediately when the second round starts. The starting at level 1 and progressing to level 2 and then level 3 is demoralizing for the opponent. It becomes REALLY difficult for anything short of armored B3/F3 to stop you. And those people are still trading with you so it's not like you're not doing damage (and you crush them on lvl 3). They are also giving up their meter which means you'll be able to get large chunks of life back in a clash. Some wakeups are problematic, but it depends on the matchup.

I feel like you have to relearn how to play when going against Bane. Most characters don't have attacks that are fast enough to punish anything he does because of armor. A couple have some really fast strings, but the timing has to be right.

I'm just going balls to the wall for 18 seconds and then playing it safe until Venom is up and the cycle continues. It really feels like it's up almost 100% of the time.
