Umm sorry to lower your faith in humanity farther but i play Bane and get hate mail still. Hell I had one guy call me a Hacker because i did 32% with a venom x3 MB command grab to finish him off.

Had one guy yell at me because all i did was c grab him. You bet your ass i did. He never jumped once and was aquaman so i could freely grab him every time he stood up. Even said Bane was overpowered top tier trash.

Only hate mail I've really gotten was after destroying someone as Bane. All they sent was "Ponce".

Though I did get someone tell me that the reason he ragequit a match was because "It was his brother playing and that he (the guy sending the message) is a pro."

Went online for some matches yesterday and I came across the worst kind of online player there is

My internet was really bad that day, but I still managed to pull off some wins with Aquaman and GL.Nvm, guy was like 82+ level (a cave dweller apparently), I picked Deathstroke and he picked Superman. When the match begins he immediately starts spamming his air lasers, because of my bad internet I couldn't block/dodge all of them and he took a way a huge chunk of my health. When the second round started I dealt him a lot of damage my self but he was still ahead , then my connection goes down and I disconnect. I go back online after 5 minutes and I have like 3 messages from him in my inbox calling me a rq, a scumbag and an asshole. I reply to him explaining that I have bad internet and sometimes I disconnect during matches and I also told him that I'd offer him a rematch if he was more polite and didn't play so cheap. He then replies me with a few more swears and also calls me a noob because I picked DS...Then he ends his message with the all time classic "F*ck your mother". His psn name is BleedingVein or smth like that btw

I immediately blocked the guy and reported him to Sony. Luckily a few friends of mine will be picking up the game this summer so I'll have some people to play locally without having internet dumbasses ruining my mood

I always laugh when people complain about spamming a combo. People that complain about combo spamming show their ignorance with regards to how 2D fighting games work, since most characters have at least one BnB combo and that delay in an online match usually precludes using flashier combos.

Amen, get this ALL the time with WW. Her bnb is b113, b113, 23 lassograb. If it were offline all kinds of flashy moves are available for 3% more damage! But since its not Im just "spamming" the same 37% combo?

Yeah, it may look easy, but the timing is pretty strict, especially online. But whats funny is I'll use other characters who have just one basic BnB but i never get hatemail for that combo, like Flash, or Supermans f23, f2 freeze, b3, j3, 22, grab, heatvision. Same thing all the time, but no hate for that? Maybe they just hate how WW needs no Bar for hers.

Did anyone here ever play some scrub named HandySavage? I played him the other day and he started talking trash during the intro and saying he was gonna kick my shit in. He complained on the mic the whole fight because I punished his ji2 attempts and trapped him in the corner with Hawkgirls b1->Wing Evade (3) loop because he kept trying to do Batman's slide on wakeup. After I won, he started calling me trash and then he literally bombarded me with messages for almost an hour asking for a rematch because I got lucky and I'd never beat him.

If I can get good audio on my digital camera, I'll edit this post and post the messages on youtube. That kid was screaming at me and cussing like some salty man child.

One has to love the double standard that doesn't apply to certain characters. I was in a Survivor match earlier and the other players in the room were cheering on the Batman player that was the survivor when I entered the room, even though he used the same combo that every Batman player does. I used Lobo and became the survivor and people started calling me a "combo spamming noob [ban incoming]" because I ended almost all of my combos with Lobo's 213 string in spite of my using different set ups. I know more complicated combos with Lobo, but I use 213 because it's the easiest ender to land online and this is Day 2 Lobo for me.

Why do people feel the need to say that they plan on blocking someone? All saying "Blocked" and other similar words/phrases does is show that they ran out of things to say and are taking the man's way out of an argument, the man being a sissy man, but a man nonetheless. What makes "Blocked" even more pathetic a reply is that hate mailers that block others usually started the argument and often don't follow through on their promise to block.

Not really hatemail, just learn more moves. We were having a fairly even match and then I started using Flash's running man as a distance high/low mix-up. I may have gone a little bit too far with spamming it...

Faced some 12 year old limpdick twice today, my God he was terrible... Bodied him with Superman both times and he was whining through his mic throughout both matches.
