Clashes Cause Some Characters To Lose Trait.

I get so pissed when I'm playing as Sinestro, and I manage to bring his trait out, only for some asshat to clash and I lose all that hard work and progress.

It also happens to people with stances, it gets back to the default one, though, that's not too bad.

I know just about everyone loses active traits in clashes, but I don't think Sinestro should. Anyone who has to charge their trait for that matter.

Another odd thing, is that Bane has his venom decrease during the round win animation, yet you can't increase it. Say you just ended a round with your opponent in the corner, and you have 1 venom and its ticking away. You'll perhaps want to go to level 2 venom and carry on with armor to pressure, but no. You have the negatives, but you can't even influence it.

IMO venom shouldn't decrease during win animations, or you should be able to activate it.

I've been running KF more lately and I just haven't figured out how to properly and safely charge her trait, so I never realy noticed this, might just have to run a few tests on this, if anything we could all experiment on it and see exactluy who is losing what, which may help figure out if it is intentional or unintentional.

I don't think any traits should wear off during round win animations. Anyone with a trait that has a time limit can have it wear out when winning a round.

I agree with that some of these traits are not only time sensitive, but require work to build up and use, like KF's. It would piss me off if I finally got the trait charged and activated only to watch it die off during a victory pose. Her trait take a good few precious seconds to charge and if want to use it you have to sacrifice a lot of extra damage to your opponent just to charge it.

The only people that really need immediate fixes are Bane and Sinestro.

Bane takes hella damage and does nothing for no reason.
Sinestro works damn hard to get his trait out, and he loses it whenever the opponent decides to.

Any trait with a charge/debuff should not dissapear during anything bar their own super.

I'm a Sinetro player and I disagree with this. His trait is extremely good, I think this is a nice way to balance it out.

How can you possibly think that letting your opponent remove what you worked for probably the entire first round just by clashing is balanced.

Sinestro losing his trait on clash would be equal to Black Adam losing his ability to divekick, or Batman being unable to use bats for the rest of the match. It literally is what Sinestro lives and dies by.

I think it was intended that some characters lose their traits after a clash or a transition, because they're both meant to return the momentum of the match to neutral. But if they inconsistently lose it without being active, that sounds like a bug that needs to fixed.
This makes a lot of sense. I guess they felt if someone was in the life lead and was sitting on Wager Mode only for the purpose of knowing he was going to regain health anyway then it would sway in his/her advantage.

And when you add a Full active trait on top of that, It would heavily be in his/her favor.. So I guess it is used as a way to neutralize momemtum.

That's the 1st time I've EVER heard a Sinestro user say that. Almost sound like up-playing deceptively. Sinestro's trait is the ONLY tool he has to keep him against the better tooled chars of the game. Not only does he have a long charge up to activate it meaning you have to sacrifice damage and/or positioning, the two main things he shouldn't be, but also there's only 3 shots.

So if you're in the 2nd round, made those sacrifices, and the 1st combo you start they clash and its gone back to zero, is fair? This isn't like Batman who can just wait a few seconds and bring the bats back out. Against a really good player you may not even be able to bring back trait again after the clash/transition/super. Even if you WIN or do one of those you still lose it.

Maybeeee if it had wait time like Batman, Black Adam, almost everyone. Maybeeee if you had the ability to just charge one bar and release one at your own discretion, being in control of your own risk/reward level. Or other possible fixes people have brought up. But to say Sinestro's current trait situation is fair" and "balances out" a char who isn't even one of the best is absurd. Especially considering others who have traits as good or better who just have to wait a few seconds to get it back, while they already have much better tools to begin with.

See, this sounds like someone who actually knows how Sinestro functions. His trait is very good, but he has to sacrifice a lot to get it out.

It isn't like Aquamans/Supes/Lanturns/Adams where they can simply press 4 and change everything, he works damn hard for his little ball of fear and he should damn well keep it out until he uses it up.

Was black adam DK meant to be safe ?

I have to bluntently say that having sinestro lose his trait is pretty damn weak and unbalanced especially when you have ovbivous OP characters who regenrate theirs without a charge

please explain the balance and logic behind batman, superman, and black adam having their regenrate on their own

Were they meant to be s+? and sinestro shit?
