"Rage-Quitting" online issue to be addressed on Tuesday w/ Batgirl Release

Sorry if we're a little late on this but it seems there are tons of people being affected by this issue. Several NetherRealm Studios representatives have acknowledged the issue and have made a point to tell us that the next "patch/update" for Injustice: Gods Among Us on Tuesday, May 21st will fix this with the release of Batgirl. So, sit tight... just a few days away.

This issue resides where if your opponent "rage quits", you will receive a loss even though they were the ones who quit.

Well atleast this means Pako was telling me the truth in the stream chat back before Lobo released. I asked him about the rage quiting then during an Injustice stream and he said it would be fixed with the 2nd DLC character.

to me if they are winning like 50 games to 1 loss....

they aren't trying very hard to keep playing people who can give them a run for their money.

Unless your a whole different level above the entire planet.

There is someone out there who can really challenge you and build up your skills. And if you're constantly fighting people who really challenge you.

you should never have ridiculous records like 40wins to 1 loss.


I'm not saying those people are bad, I'm just saying it also means they don't ALWAYS challenge themselves.

i mean say i play only my clan members other c88's they do challenge me but i out play them and win 50-1 doesnt mean im not building skill just they got out played.

They don't challenge you enough if you're winning 50-1....

Have you ever been to a tournament?

not saying there is ZERO to be learned from fighting people lesser skilled. But they don't push your limits.

yes i have why does that matter?

and they do push me to my limits i just out play them.

You need to look up the definition of "limits"


IF you were saying something more along the lines of 6-1 or something... I'd take that.

but to say someone you beat 50 times and they take ONE match off you is pushing you to your limits? We have different definitions of what limits are.

did i say 1 person? no i said my clan. there is like 20+ c88s on my Friends list who almost all play differnt people (aside from like the 7 supes and 4 KFs lulz)

say i play all of them twice and walk out with a W/L of 48-3

does that mean they didnt push me to my limits? fuck no for all u know each match i could of had a pixel left and barely won.

you can still win a majority of ur matches and be pushed to ur limits.

If you're gonna take that small nearly impossible scenario and apply it everyone's record...

well be my guest.

You won't catch me looking at a 3,000 win : 50 loss record and being like

Man that guy must've really pushed himself to his limits and won with barely a pixel left. he just luckily barely squeezed all 3,000 of those wins...


you can't take one extremely rare example, and apply it to the masses as a good way to measure skill.

at the end of the day, it's the player not the stats, that show them how good they are.


I've played a REALLY good cyrax main, that had like 4k losses, and 2k wins.

why if he was so good did he have so many losses?

cuz he only fights people that destroy him thats why.

He is the prime example I'm talking about on why records don't matter, and someone with a shit ton of wins will never get instant "omg he's godly" respect from me.

if youre playing ranked then it should apply. cause if theyre winning a majority of the time they must be half decent.

player matches are a joke aside from private stuff

Until Injustice or Mortal Kombat adapts a ranking system similar to that of how Starcraft 2 ranks their people.

Even Rank isn't that big of a deal.

Correct me if I'm wrong, don't they match you up against random rank players?

I played 5 ranked matches in a row... 3 of them were the same guy I could probably beat with one hand.

This ranking system isn't legit either... sorry..


The only thing that I trust, is MASSIVE losses over wins in ranked. I know for a fact that guy is terrible. But massive wins over losses? there are so many bad players spamming rank... and you're randomly matched with them.

I don't see how that's good to prove how good you are.

Tournament results where you're fighting the best in the world is how you REALLY get measured.

I play a match- I win a match- I get a win
I play a match- I lose a match- I get a loss

Regardless of skill or location, a win is a win, a loss is a loss, the rage quit glitch is an issue and I'm glad it is getting addressed.

dunno if that's directed at me, but I'm not saying I didn't want them to fix it lol. Obviously I do.

I'm just saying, people out there shouldn't let this kind of stuff get to them. Because... at the end of the day... those stats don't correlate well.

Good, I have a record of 40-10, guess how many times I've lost? Twice! I know people have had more rage quitters, but I don't even played ranked hardly. And the funny part is the people that are rage quitting are the ones with good records. Latest dude was like 1050-85, and he was pretty bad, as soon as I was about to win, dropped and I get a loss.

I don't necessarily care about ranked or record, but that's not even close to the point. I shouldn't get punished for my opponent being a scrub. I also think the update should reset ranked stats.
