So,

Does anyone use bf2 at all? Seems kind of pointless aside from combos videos. It can be useful to switch sides mid combo, but most places you'll be able to get a crossup ji2 after MB hands to switch sides anyways.

Thoughts?

I use it... just for variety. I don't really think it is good or anything. :16Bit

I use it if I'm playing against somebody super-aggro who feels the need to counter-poke or mash buttons at any given opportunity. For instance I'll do 112>>bf2 on a read and it'll land almost every time lol. Then obviously you can MB into trait, it's kind of risky like when people started doing things like D1 lift with Ermac in Mk9 but if you have a pretty decent read on an opponent it can pay off.

Has the B1 reset changed? Or am I just being dumb? I swear the frame data changed.
It's still there.

Alright, let's go over Grundy's corner pressure.

Let's say he gets you there with health trait throw. He has ton of options off this.

1, F+1 low
2, b+1 overhead
3, universal throw
4, MB f+3 overhead
5, MB Cleaver overhead
6, trait throw
7, jump over 2, which is safe against majority (if not all) of wake ups, I think against GL lift as well.
8, tick throw
9, d+2 for air
10, Walking corpse or Walking Corpse cancel to punish a wake up.
11, Nothing.

Now let's say he does a hard knock down from either d+3, d+1,3, or (I think b+1, 3)
1, F+1 low
2, b+1 overhead
3, Universal throw
4, MB F+3 Overhead
5, MB cleaver
6, trait throw
7, jump over 2
8, tick throw
9, Make you turn around
10, d+2 for air
11, Walking Corpse or Walking Corpse Cancel to punish a wake up.
12, nothing.

The more you know.

Issue with Power Chain inputs:

If you go into practice mode and map the inputs for Power Chain to your screen, you can see them reverse mid-chain. At first I thought this was just a corner issue, but it actually happens anytime I use the chain.

Just to add to the Corner pressure list... F+2,2 is good for if they try to jump out. and also links to WC on block AND hit.

Anyways, I've started to experiment with WCC and been having a lot of success. Just walk up to them with armor and start doing 112 strings. lol
Also gotten better at his AA throw. I'm just like " jump at me bro!" xD

Same here, in regards to his AA. So many people I come across never learn to stop jumping at me. I was playing a Joker once(who has a crazy crossover)and because of Joker's crossover, this guy would not stop jumping at me. I was laughing my ass off.

One of the things I do right after the AA is Grundy's WC or his WCC. When I do the WC right after the AA, it grabs them every time, sometimes you actually need to wait a split second before doing it depending on who you're fighting. The only character that sometimes gets out of it is of course Black Adam with that fast dash back of his.

It reverses them on the screen but it doesn't actually reverse the inputs. If you're on the left side of the screen, the input is right-left and then down-right every time
