I don't expect 10-0 but you should expect me to never use swamp hands. Instead, I'll just wait for you to charge and cancel Walking Corpse for a 60% combo.

Swamp hands is for zoners, not grapplers. my normals are all better and with WCC I can get in on you for free. also make sure you jump so I can get a 50% AA combo.

Why would I charge if you're not using Swamp Hands? :v There is no reason other than at level 3 so I can rape your armor and even then I have better options.

Its a shame I skip all of that and just eat through it.
Also its a shame we can just no-grab ourselves over and over using venom armor and keep pegging you for ~10% every time you try to do armored anything.

Ok, MAD respect for your MK9 skills, I remember you very well but these are just not logical sentences. If I use Superman and Tom Brady bodies me w/Joker, does that mean Joker is better? You can't ever take players abilities into tier/matchup discussions. Plus, the game is 3 weeks old and people are still discovering the game. You can't, nor can anybody, for certain say who's better than who w/absolute conviction...........yet

Some characters potential is easier to see than others and if I learned anything from MK9 its that if its too good to be true...it probably is. NW had unblockable lightning setups that lead to 70-80% damage. That meant dick in the metagame because everyone could get out of them. Bane seems pretty shitty to me and Grundy seems above average and I'm willing to go through a gauntlet of Bane players in order to show this.

IMO, Bane is a much more difficult char to play and master, but that doesn't always mean better. Did you, like most people, think Sinestro was hot garbage last week? Cause pig of the hut (why do you both sound like the kids from lord of the flys novel) just showed some new bad ass tech w/him. I feel Bane has that potential. I'm on xbox...but I'll have pig advertise it on his stream and we can make it a big deal. Make a huge kinofthehill or survivor room. It could be really fun.

I know we're a little off subject but do you know of any link CONFIRMING nerfs? Everybody is in a panic uproar based on rumors from what I see. I have yet to see any real confirmation

there is none...but the boards are a good place to go to see what people are complaining about. NRS reads these daily and will probably listen to the community to an extent. My bet is more than half of the rumors are true. You should be begging for buffs right now. Im actually doing you a favor my beating all the Bane players (fingers crossed) because maybe if NRS sees it he will get buffed.

I personally don't think he needs any major buffs simply cause the game is 3 weeks old and there is so much still to discover. Obviously I won't complain if he gets better, but don't think he needs it yet. All he requires is patience and he DOES have ways to get in w/his Venom

The one thing I think Bane could use is a better jump and/or jump attacks. His splash...is a splash.. I think his JI2 should move his hurtbox back. Lastly, I'd make his jump more like a hop. While his jump is already pretty shallow, I think it should be faster/less frames.

After getting a decent amount of matches online, I found that Bane's jump is almost a detriment in how easy it is to see and AA. Attacking horizontally is probably where he was designed to shine, and he does, but not to the degree that his jump should be so bad...imo.

I've been conditioned to never jump. Every time I try to jump in, I get blown up by someone's AA. It blows my mind sometimes. I will go like 5-7 games against some and never jump once. Next game, I'll jump in at some point, and somehow they fucking knew it was coming and blow me up lol

I actually say to myself, "I knew I'd get blown up and I still did it. I'm an idiot."

I'm guessing it was because Bane's jump is like some sort of ridiculous float, like Dhalsim or something. Which is why I think it needs to be changed. Being good horizontally is fine....but it also makes you completely predictable for anyone who knows how to zone/footsie. Moving the hurtbox on the JI2 would also be really big for this. I'm not sure why, but it looks like anyone can hit Bane out of any of his JI's with some moves that aren't even AAs.
