General/Other Batgirl is a wasted slot... wait... what?

I'd be fine with the amount of Batman characters in the game if Batgirl, Catwoman and Bane weren't in. Bane isn't even fun to play as.

Opinions though.

Bane is too awesome to not to be in. And he's easily the most interesting Bat villain in the game. /opinions

This shit that has been going on is hilarious. Mega mega Fanboi wars and shit, this game just makes me shake my head sometimes. Maybe not the game itself but the reactions and strong hate/love for it is rather disturbing. I do agree, half the people talking trash are only here b/c of hype and will vanish in a few weeks.

The Zod and Scorpion love is the most disturbing though.

Yeah, Batgirl is a bit of a weak choice. The problem for me isn't Batgirl herself... the problem is the rumored DLC after.

It amazes me that people are declaring Batgirl a wasted DLC slot already, without seeing any of her gameplay. Nightwing plays differently than Batman. Black Adam plays differently than Shazam. Sinestro plays differently than Green Lantern. I would expect that Batgirl will play differently from the characters before her, even if her costume has a bat logo on the chest.

People say she's a wasted slot because there were so many other unique characters that they could have chosen for that one female DLC slot.

NRS cant be proud of Batgirl. Im sure it takes a shit ton of hours to make a character and it sucks to be wasted on that trash. Im willing to bet DC comics is pushing this one down NRS's throat for the New 52 stuff. I believe Ed and Hector are very tuned into the FGC that they wouldnt make a fucked up decision like Batgirl. When Ed trolled and said there maybe more characters than just 4 maybe he was serious cause he thought some of the DLC was trash NRS had to involve in the game. Marvel did the same thing to Capcom and forced characters into the game that were very unpopular by the Capcom community. My question is if gaming companies like NRS are so involved in the game community why cant comic companies be on the same page?
