lol, if you dont know if you're gonna do a wake up or not.I usually just continually mash the wakeup input hoping it'll come out lol
I call it "Retard Yomi."lol, if you dont know if you're gonna do a wake up or not.
How can your opponent read you right?
Kinda like the way Mango does tech rolls in SSBM, he rolls the stick erratically causing the direction to be random. Can't pick up on a habit that is random lollol, if you dont know if you're gonna do a wake up or not.

Intentional... In MK it was easy.It doesn't matter how much I practice the timing, my retarded ass characters don't do them when I input the command. Did NRS intend to make it this way or do they just suck at programming?
they intended it to be the way it is. A big issue alot of people had with MK9 was how useless knockdown advantage was.It doesn't matter how much I practice the timing, my retarded ass characters don't do them when I input the command. Yes, because every time i did a wakeup in MK i was just using my fingers as an MP5 against my controller.I think we are just to used to the huge input window in mk. Mashing isn't the way to go in this game.
I just want to say that it isn't useless, especially on characters like Shang Tsung.they intended it to be the way it is. A big issue alot of people had with MK9 was how useless knockdown advantage was.
HELL NO... I love it just the way it is. You guys wanna get up for free? God forbid something like wake up attacks cant be mashed out, that must be patched........I'm really hoping they make the buffer window a bit more lenient with one of the upcoming patches. Before they buff or nerf any characters it would be great if they could get some of these universal issues dealt with.
Then proceeds to mash trait and D2 as an anti-air...HELL NO... I love it just the way it is. You guys wanna get up for free? God forbid something like wake up attacks cant be mashed out, that must be patched........
See, here is my issue... I wake up with a WU attack any time I want, why don't I have that problem? AHHHH.. because I used to feel the way you guys do now and I PRACTICED
If only it was actually was that easy to win...Then proceeds to mash trait and D2 as an anti-air...
I'm joking dawg. I have a whip from across the screen. If only it was actually was that easy to win...
In fact, Aquaman is probably the most dropped character as a main since the game came out.

I will say this character is actually pretty difficult to play. It's surprising. No way in hell I'm dropping him though. On topic I haven't had that much of an issue with wake up attacks personally. It's just different. If only it was actually was that easy to win...
In fact, Aquaman is probably the most dropped character as a main since the game came out. The culprit? Zoning...
I never said I want to get up for free, but when you get blown up over and over because your move just isn't coming out, or is coming out as a non-wakeup version, it becomes very irritating. I practiced too, and I can get wakeups to go off with about 90% consistency in practice mode (except Cyborg's Techno Tackle, which comes out as Target Acquired...), but that goes down to about 1% as soon as I go online. And like it or not, online play is a big enough part of this game to warrant an extra couple of frames of input leniency.HELL NO... I love it just the way it is. You guys wanna get up for free?
