Aww yes. You were really good. I especially liked your DeathStroke (which I believe my HG beat as well) To be honest, I just don't think Bane can compete with HG. She can evade him easily and zone the shit out of him. Add me on PSN so we can run the HG vs DS MU because I like playing DeathStroke's like yours because you very precise with your bullets and you were very patient. :)

So far, my least favorite match up for Bane is Nightwing. The good news though is once you get him in the corner, he's done. But the trouble is getting in on him. His wingdings beats out all super armor, even level 3. His staff stance can be abused once you get closer to him, his j.3 is great too and can be cancelled into wingdings. How're you guys handling him?

In other words, you are agreeing with me that Bane struggles against "competent" PLAYERS. Hence, he is low/bottom tier. Because the hypothetical scenarios that Bane wins will never happen against a competent player, and without those hard counter situations, he sucks. That's what you're saying yes?

Hawk girl players =/= all players.

A different MU does not mean all people will not struggle, because by your chain of thought most things shouldn't work on competent players. Hawkgirl has mobility that others don't have, and those others are much more vulnerable to his pressure and throw set ups.

'Hypothetical' situations are just that, hypothetical. Taking factors like environment into effect it's very possible to score huge damage with Bane and win.

Down playing Bane hard lol.

Well, I guess I should have re-worded my statement. Bane loses to HawkGirl. (IMO)

You realize when she takes to the air you can do venom upper and chase her down. You don't even need to use charge, honestly Hawkgirl is one of our easiest MUs. Nothing she has access to beats a venom uppercut, it all trades. Her wake-up game is meh, nothing a venom snag won't cure.


And no, honestly if he does for it we can reactionary venom through the first shot. He has to get it started, and we don't want to care enough to let him.

Odd, I play plenty of "competent" players and I find that quite a lot of them fall for these "hypothetical" scenarios, as you call them.
"Hypothetically", our armor and wake-up game shuts down a lot of character is a lot more reliable and proven than...
"Hypothetically" players will guess right every time and never fall for a single Bane mix-up.

He is top 10, deal with it. :cool:

It is, I lost to a guy, who I was at first beating, til he realized all he had to do was jump back wingdings. Even at level 3 venom boost, it beats Bane.
