Valley Stream Monsters Thursday Night Casuals at The Gamers Edge in Valley Stream, NY

Thanks so much to everyone who watched last night. In our second week we actually more than doubled our viewer numbers... 54 in the 1st week, 109 in the second!

Thanks to all the players who continue to show up and make this stream possible! 14 yesterday, and we didn't have REO, Spencer, Miles(local player, but pretty darn good).

We picked up a few new players too, and Riu48 (a fellow TYM Mod), from Westchester, NY took the drive to be there and support.

We've gotten nothing but positive feedback from this and it just keeps me motivated to make it better each week. We're contemplating commentary, but yesterday in the stream chat, I was noticing people saying that they might prefer it without the commentary. Let me know!

Great stuff guys. Saw some of the matches and I can say that as of now the NY area imo has the most solid MK9 players.

Just googled the directions. Not too far from me, about a hour by train. I have to catch the LIRR from Woodside station if I actually wanna come to this fuckkkkk lol. But I have to do this at least once and not front. If you need me or spooky to blow up your stream link when u guys are live (cause i never know when u guys are live!) or if u actually want spooky to stream casuals one of these days we could do that as well.

Really easy... take the LIRR to the Valley Stream Station and the venue is 2 blocks west of the station, just south of Sunrise Highway.

I'm coming from Staten Island. If I don't drive, how do I get there with mass transit from Manhattan. Can I catch the LIRR at Penn station?

The MTA website says that it's the Far Rockaway branch and that you can grab the LIRR at Penn Station to get there.

I couldn't find one directly behind the place, but there's this decent-sized lot behind an Allstate and what appears to be a Nail Salon... is that the one? So far I've been parking on some residential street a couple of blocks down the road... BUT THERE MUST BE A BETTER WAY!

Was hoping to make it tonight but it doesn't look like it. Definitely making it next week though! This will be my first tourney type event ever so I'm pretty pumped even if I'm just getting my ass kicked lol.

9.95 is the madcatz fightpad allowed for xbox 360 or does this run on PS3 only?

Also I can get there rather early if you ever need a hand setting up, I don't mind.
