His df1 is a much better aa and if you reverse the input it will beat all crossover attacks , so much priority since its a AA grab, and it grants untechable knockdown

Depends on the situation, for instance, against Black Adam, d+2 would be the better ideal AA since you trade if you do his AA against his dive kick.

Its faster yeh and basically the same as sheevas. D2 leads to 11-trait or 2 ex swamp though.

Anyone know if df1 beats things like black Adams dive kick?

It's hard as fuck for Grundy to jump in on GL mid range, so like @Badgetfan20945 said, just WCC or dash forward. Here's something I wasn't gonna tell anyone. You can punish lift with cleaver spin on block.

I've been messing around with the walking corpse cancel, it works vs blavk Adams dive kick and most other attack. Ots like reptiles whiffed dash but with 3 hits of armor

Grundy's Pain chain inputs still annoy me...and sometimes the swamp hands are too slow to react to keep away characters

Do the input as Grundy is slamming them on the floor. And you never use swamp hands to keep away, you only use it to catch someone slipping or punish them for throwing a projectile.

that's what i meant sometimes it's too slow to react to green lantern or deathstroke
