I wouldn't go that far -- Seven is a good player and he has valid points. It's just that the criticism is unbalanced and doesn't really reflect the amount of love that NRS is putting into their work for the community.

If he'd rather have an iterated MK9 than Injustice, that's his personal preference and I don't see anything wrong with that. But the rest of us are going to have a blast with Injustice :)
Word. While they are sitting there bashing Injustice, we are going to be sitting in our rooms bashing skulls with our favorite super heroes. Let's see who has more fun.

You are absolutely right, but how can any of us take this guy seriously. MK Deception is arguably the best MK!?? I cannot, and will not respect that statement.

Every game is gonna have its folks that bash the crap out of it, I love Dark Souls and play it almost everyday(as well as MK) and this game has become quite popular, but there is still morons that just bash it to death, because its not Skyrim or WoW or whatever (insert genaric RPG game). Mostly these are the people that just can't trully hang with the game, in DS' case they whine that its too hard or whatever. This battle between Capcom fanboys and MK fanboys has been raging since the days of MK1 and its awesome that all these years later this fight is still ongoing.

At least NRS is always trying to do something new with an old formula, Ca$hcom is all about rehashing the same shit different toilet every year, they have the CoD & Madden of FGs, do I like many of their fighters, yes I do enjoy them, but for a competetive environment I prefer MK and I am ready to embrace IGAU with open arms.

Well Deception was the better of the 3D varients, but it wasn't the best by any stretch of the imagination. Was definately better than Armageddon.

This post boils down to an ideal I've seen far too many times.

"Stop liking things I don't like."

Description- It baffles the person with this thought processes, how anyone can like X since they don't like X themselves. Usually people with this mentality have an over inflated belief in the value of their opinion. They cannot be wrong, so seeing many other people with an opposing view against their own, jars their perception of reality. Unable to even think that there is any possibility that they could be wrong, or misjudged X, or the even more simpler answer- different strokes for different strokes-the person places himself above the masses and even, in some cases, attempts to persuade the opposing side as to why they are wrong and he is of course right.

Possible counter-actions- The most effective is to ignore the person and not let his rhetoric bother you. You understand not everyone enjoys the same things, so allow him a chance to state his case, and move on with your life embracing the very thing he hates. Of course, when this person states things you can 100% disprove with facts, it gets harder to ignore. An opinion is not something that can be changed, but lies can be revealed. However, people that believe such lies also believe that they are never wrong, so this would be an exercise in futility and just an aggravation for yourself. Again, it's just best to ignore, let the person enjoy his hate, while you have fun.

Now this happens many times in life, whither it's sports, politics, religion, or video games. People simply want other people to agree with them and anyone else who doesn't is wrong. Instead of worrying on ways to make them see the light, or to at least, take a less hostile stance on the opposing viewpoint, just walk away, slam the door, or hit the ignore button.

Lol, IGAU has, like, 1 pre-day 1-patch infinite, and dude wiles out over it.

Newsflash, Fei Long and Abel had character-specific infinites in SSFIV, with Fei Long's being found SUPER EARLY. Let's not get into Marvel's showcase of bugs, and the stupidity of Phoenix lol. TTT2 had an unblockable exploit with Hwoarang that led to some BS damage regardless of how you took the unblockable. KOFXIII has the Benimaru infinite now, that was pretty much there from the start, just no one got down air Raijiken (However you spell that fucking move) enough to know it for whatever reason, or never thought of doing it. A bunch of games actually have infinites from the get-go.

Remember Ogre. Heh.

No, don't remember Ogre. I might know what you're talking about, but I forgot lol.
Wasn't this considered some infamous Infinite (I don't play Tekken)? Not sure if it's an infinite but I heard a lot of hoopla about it.

Everyone just likes to blow up NRS, and ignore other game's faults for some reason.

Also appears some people can't tell the difference between "I liked" & "the best".
Just for the record, if you read my first post, I said I agreed with some of the points my friend made. I don't agreed with everything (I like MKA more than MKD), but because I posted what he said, we immediately become the same person don't we. :coffee:

Sure seems that way.

PS- MKA is even worse than MKD.

PSS- my comment was directly more so to a post more recent than yours

If a kid goes to a teacher, principal, adult, what have you and says "you see, I have this friend" it's immediately suspicious. The kid may really have a friend that doesn't want to admit to the problem or is too embarrassed but what's to stop your "friend" from posting his opinion himself?

Well he sent this email to me and I asked him if I could post it on TYM because I thought he had good points. What's with everyone being suspicious thinking it's me or something. If I wanted to say something, I would, I wouldn't hide behind the "you see, I have a friend".

Because it's a suspicious thing, can you really not see that? You may truly have a friend and that may be exactly what went down but it's just as likely that you're this "friend". I personally don't care who posted it but you have to see how iffy it looks.

broken piece of shit. And mini games are mini games. Chess Kombat was awesome, too bad you had to play rounds of MKD for it.
lol and Kabal isn't broken? MKA and MKD were broken but they were fuuun, the fatalities were the best EVER. The stages and music were amazing (much better than MK9), the reason I like MKA more than MKD is because the characters had no infinite (not talking about kak).

How could you not like this:

1. Again, I personally don't care either way. I've said my piece about why I disagree with the statements in the OP, regardless of who made them.

2. That could easily be faked as well, not saying that's what happened but it's possible to simply send that to yourself.
Ok where do you live? Maybe I could come over and show you.
