He didn't say everyone is super cheap or brain-dead. Look at T6 -> TTT2, instead of Bob, Law, and Mishimas having all the broke shit, now almost everyone has the broke shit. Character variety is tremendously improved, and it's a lot of fun to watch. The better players are still going to be the better players in this game.

Characters having really good tools does not mean they are easy mode and spammable, just that they all can compete against each other and it will take skill to get around everyones dirt and know how to deal your own

I pretty much grew up alongside fighters lol. I'm just saying, if you're worried about every character being pretty busted, it's been like that for years, obviously. And a lot of those games are timeless classics.
